Will my RAZR MAXX have ICS 4.0.4 before my Galaxy Nexus?

Not at all, the GN is still a phone with bugs that needs to be fixed with an update. Can't say that about my RAZR MAXX though as it works perfectly and does what it is supposed to.

My Nexus is doing much the same thing for me.

1) not everyone is having issues. I've had far less with my Nexus as I did with my Thunderbolt, which was the first LTE phone on the market. The nexus is the first ICS device on the market. Its been smoother than the Thunderbolt's debut despite the whinning.

2) The Razr Maxx runs on year old software. I'd hope it was bug-free otherwise Motorola really sucks at making software that works. Considering they have delayed ICS (presumably) for the MAXX/Razr don't you think maybe there are bugs with it?

I fortunately haven't had an issue with my phone. I'm also not a novice at this. You don't need to be a genius to work this device, its actually quite simple to use. But complaining and saying the phone sucks (not saying you), gets you very little help from a community if you have an issue with the device. I'll just enjoy my ICS on my own...

For all those with the Razr/Maxx, how is MLB.TV streaming working for you on the app?

I'm a new galaxy owner. I use the GSM unlocked version on T-mobile. I've been really reading a lot in these last few days about the galaxy nexus having bugs. People saying they've returned there's more then once and what not. It seems like a Verizon problem though or is this a widespread issue. Also why are people saying the nexus brand is dead?

People think the nexus brand is dead because it has 2 Verizon apps, much like the Nexus S 4G has 1-2 Sprint apps.

Regardless, this is still a developer's device. There aren't any other phones on the market currently with all the new hardware for the new software google now supports. For instance, NFC has great potential. Some developers have done a great job with it, too. There are apps where you can set different profiles on the phone by just taping it to an NFC chip. You could attach one to a car mount and the phone goes into your own pre-defined car settings. Stick one by the doorway in your house and it automatically turns wifi on, shuts bluetooth off... etc.
Another feature this phone has is Wifi Direct. It allows you to transfer files from one device to another at blazing speeds, without the use of a wireless router. Other possibilities include streaming live video feeds to a television set where you could mirror exactly whats happening on the device without having to hook up an MHL cable. Without a development device like this, the technology dies. I understand why manufacturers don't just all jump in and put this chip and that chip in the phones. But I'm glad to see the Evo 4G LTE has NFC. Other Samsung phones have Wifi Direct. Without this device, though, those technologies have no chance in hell in lifting off.
