Hey y'all!

Just got my Inspire on AT&T. Coming from a rooted Vibrant on T-MO and was disappointed to find out when i tried to install SWYPE that "AT&T prevents the installation of 3rd party apps" & could not install it on my HTC Inspire. I am wondering once one click root is easily available and i ROOT, can i then install 3rd party apps?

Also, if i root AND buy an unlock code, could i use this phone on T-Mobile and get 3G/4G speeds?

Someone posted a method to put swype on the Inspire without rooting. It's on here somewhere.

Use the sideload from this site. it's a great software that let you install any apk files. F*** att for disabling this option.

Locked Vs UNLocked

Thanks for the answers. If i unlock my HTC Inspire, can i still use the one click root when its ready or will that jack it up? Will the ROMS that become available be able to be installed same as if it were UNlocked?

Thanks again,
