Will the Nexus 6P work on Verizon?

My new Nexus 6p is only connecting on 3G. I switched the SIM from my Verizon IPhone 6, but haven't been able to get LTE going. Any tips?

Give it some time if you just put it in... Try a restart as well

I think you may need a new sim card. I think the sim card for iPhones are provisioned differently. I know this because my previous phone (Note 5) was not working properly and needed the sim card to be replaced. The Verizon tech grabbed a new sim and when he scanned it to be activated on my account he receives an error message. Looking perplexed he then says something along the line of "oh this sim is for an Iphone. That's why." Grabs another sim and I was good to go.

I hope it this helps.

Will they swap my sim out at a local verizon store even though the phone isn't authorized by them? Thanks for all of the help.

Yeah. You should have no problem. However, you never know with Verizon... :) Good luck. Keep us posted.

I called Verizon customer service and the rep was able to get it working after a few minutes. She said she "refreshed a couple things on the back end" and after a restart my LTE was good to go. I should have called before even posting here, but didn't know they would take care of it with the phone not being authorized. Thanks!
