Will you be importing the note 20 ultra snapdragon 865+?

I'm sticking with Exynos, I use the upgrade program and the Snapdragon version is not included so no go, but if I were buying outright then I would certainly consider importing.

If I lived outside the US I would seriously consider importing it. S20 Ultra saw up to a 25% difference in battery life during heavy app usage between the Exynos and Snapdragon chips, probably gonna be similar for the Note 20.

I feel bad for you guys, when Qualcomm screwed up and had the inferior product Samsung gave the US Exynos instead of using the Snapdragon 810 in the S6/Note5 and Tab S2 got an Exynos chip as well. When Samsung screws up and makes the inferior product they still put it in their phone.

I've had a play with the Samsung Note20 Ultra in my local Uk Samsung Experience Store today and it looks awesome and the camera bump actually helps it to be held by placing your finger up to it, as some others have said

However until it's been put through it's paces with a full retail model I'm still not pulling the trigger on the Exynos version.

Get rid of exynos? Exynos 1000 is coming next year and will be more powerful than snapdragon.

I keep seeing people talk about this.

Has Samsung officially created content on this and confirmed it's coming out next year and it'll be fitted into the next phone's released in the Uk / Europe ?

If so I would be grateful you please add a link to Samsung's page on this.

Nothing is confirmed but all the reports from leakers and in the media that they are joining forces to make this happen. Samsung won’t really confirm anything about their next ship set but you only have to google exynos and ARM and you will get all you need to see for that.

Hmm yes this is what I've been seeing and reading from different people and sources.

I was just hoping Samsung had officially clarified.

Faster than Snapdragon 875? I'll see it when I believe it. I haven't read anything about them aiming for Exynos 1000 being faster, but rather "more competitive" and less expensive. Thing is, from what it seems - Samsung may move away from Snapdragon 875 due to cost but not so much for performance reasons.

Not just that but Samsung’s future chips are suppose to rival apple. It’s suppose to be very powerful. Will see though

I already preordered the Note 20 Ultra with Wonda. Got My Note 10 from them last year as well, never had a problem.

What about Region Lock ?

Region Lock.
"All current Samsung phones come with an active regional lock when first bought. Assuming it's not also locked to a specific network, using a SIM from the same regional origin as the phone for at least 5 minutes of total talktime will disable the regional lock and allow you to use a SIM from any other region from then on."

And manufacturing warranty ?

I'm asking due to the fact I'm wanting the Snapdragon version of the Samsung Note 20 Ultra.

You do get 12 months warranty with the site

so samsung will never get rid of the exynos bcuz of the lost to its own company, and the talk is they are teamin up with ARM and AMD for next years Galaxy line of phones. will this new chip actually giv snapdragon competition. we will hav to wait and see. for me if the exynos performance doesnt improve alot, it will always be a snapdragon chip phone for me.

I've had a look and yes it's 12 months but it has to be sent back for support if something goes wrong.

I'm a bit conflicted.

To be fair I've only ever had to send a Samsung phone in for repair/replacement once, but it could be a daunting affair sending it back to Wonga, also only 1 year warranty.

For my level of usage I’m happy to take the Exynos over the Snapdragon for double the base storage.

I was thinking this but after watching a couple of the Uk YouTube reviews even when not gaming the phone warms up and the battery output is weak and even more so on using the camera.

Now the embargo will have been lifted by Samsung on what reviewers can say I'll be keeping an open mind and watch more
