Will you upgrade to a P4/XL?

I'm rethinking my "eh, I'm not sure" answer to... It's between the Pixel 4 and Samsung. I think. The 3 has a great back-to-school sale but with the 4's release hovering like a gentle breeze, I feel like I can't pull the trigger just yet. Well, that and the fact that I can't afford it right now!
Well I guess If the pixel 4 and 4 XL have the SOLI radarship motion sensing That's an industry first!

I would love the Pixel 4 but I have to pay off my new P2XL first. I may get the 4 when the 5 is about to come out. I am not desperate to be honest because I love my P2XL so much. The battery life is phenomenal and the camera is just superlative. I know it will be 2 years old technology but it is still an amazing phone and I love it.

I ain't goofy. The pixel 4 and 4XL will be great funds as every Google and not only in my paying half of my 3XL off still, but just like you, I actually love my 3XL with Android 10! Everything about is great. Camera, battery, ram management with Android 10... Speakers are 3D storage speakers in 2019 almost 20/20 which most phones have just one speaker sound you can tell that it has dual stereo speakers front firing on it. at this point in the wireless industry, most, if not all flash of phones have some form of a notch! Not that I've really give a crap about that anyways!

I feel the exact same way about my Pixel 2. I've never had such a hard time giving up my phone until this one!

Weird isn't it? I loved it from the moment I first saw it advertised. And it has never disappointed me. I even bought a new one in Panda and gave my original to my son. He loves it. Bought one for my hubby last year and he loves his. My daughter got one for her birthday this May and loves hers. They are just a brilliant phone. No complaints about the screen from any of us. Battery life on 10 is the best I have had. The speed of the phone. No RAM issues with 4GB and that camera.... Google really does know how to make an excellent phone. Just the basics but done well. The 4 will be super duper but I can't justify a month's wages when I have a perfectly excellent phone already.

Yes, it is! And you are right! They do the basics really well. I'm so glad that your family is loving their Pixel 2's! That's so cool! My Pixel 2 is starting to show some age and it hiccups every now and then - so I am going to try and keep it as long as possible before I upgrade!

Morty a factory reset can make an old phone feel new again ;-)

Well I'm definitely going to have to wait on upgrading. I'll get the 4 next year when the 5 comes out. I don't want a notch and can't justify spending on the 4, no matter how awesome it looks when it comes out.

My mom asked me if she should get the 3 bc it's on sale right now and I really think she should get a refurb/2nd hand 2xl. Her most expensive phone ever was like $150,. ZTE Max, but for some reason she's hesitant to get a 2XL.

Is she on version? Pixel 3 unlocked is $299 with VZ activation at Best Buy. That's a crazy deal.

I have had 4 2XLs in my home so far and all have been excellent phones with no issues at all. I think the 2XL is worth every penny.

I just got my wife on the Pixel train after her finally admitting defeat on her S7. (That thing was so slow and could barely hold a charge.) I got her a 3a which BB/VZW had a promotion for $299 except it required activating a new line. We've had our cell phone numbers for 15+ years. I'm not about to deal with the hassle of switching over so I just paid the full $399. She loves it though.

I'm not sure if I'll be willing to give up my 2XL when the 4 comes out though. The 3 was a hard pass for me but I'll have to see what the 4 ends up as and if my 2XL is even remotely struggling at that point. haha.

As far as getting the P4, so far it looks that way. I'm really looking forward to seeing how much better the photos are now that it's moving away from a single rear facing camera.

I'm very interested in the Pixel 4 but I'm wary about the facial unlock feature.

I'm curious to see how good it is. Don't know if it will be as good as Apple but I'm pretty sure it will be better than Samsung.
