I know a friend at work that has the EVO and I have been playing around with it "everyday" I love it. Now, you come with the Epic, which is just as good or better? I had already decided to get the EVO, but now not sure. One of these phones will be mine no matter what happens in the contest. I just have to wait for my crappy ATT contract to end. I've had dreams of owning the EVO, can't imagine what would happen if I actually got my hands on the Epic. Wow..... Good luck to all in this contest.

The Epic definitely looks well Epic, it combines the best of the Samsung Moment I am currently using and the Samsung Galaxy S (Vibrant) my girlfriend is using. It is like the perfect unholy incestuous lovechild of Samsung engineers, and I must have one.

I'm actually new to posting on the forums, but definately been reading this site daily since just before the release of the evo, this site actually contributed to my decision to move over from blackberry. I currently have a Droid, but I've been quite interested in the Samsung series of phones. They are very sleek and elegant at the same time. I would love to own one of these.

I personally think that the epic is better than the evo. I have been on sprint for some time now and have been looking to upgrade to a android device. I was thinking of getting the evo for the longest time but that keyboard on the epic is just soo tempting. IMHO i dont think you can go wrong with either.

Epic 4g

The Epic 4g seems to be the grand daddy of the Galaxy S series. I wonder why Samsung decided to skip out on some of the features that should be universal for the other carriers. Things like a notification LED and camera flash should be standard across the entire line and maybe have a different galaxy class that includes the full qwerty for every carrier also.

i went to sprint for 30 days with the evo but came back to tmo because of contract issues wiht my mom. SO getting the epic would give me the perfect excuse to go back to sprint

Well like any good husband I let my wife get the EPIC. We will be picking up her's tomorrow. I will just stand buy and let her have the new phone because all I want is her to be happy.

I'm a Sprint employee and I want an EPIC! I can't buy one cause we have this lame employee hold period on new devices, which means I won't be able to get one for a really long time. The EVO has been out for almost 3 full months and it's still not available for employee purchase. Who knows how much LONGER the EPIC is going to be on hold for.

Today was the launch day for the EPIC and each time I sold one, I cried a little inside, knowing that I won't be able to own one probably until the end of the year! That all changes of course if I WIN!

I WANT THE EPIC! THIS PHONE IS TOO SEXY! I NEED THIS PHONE IN MY LIFE!!!

I am really loving these new Android phones from Sprint! I would love to have an epic. I missed the boat on the EVO cause I had to upgrade too quickly. My old phone broke and I ended up with the Hero. I have been dying for an EVO ever since it hit the shelves. However now that the Epic is out, I have completely changed my mind. If I could upgrade today the Epic hands down is what I would buy. So close yet so very far away!

Why I need the Epic 4G:

I was sporting an old school Moto ic902 and upgraded to the EVO about 6 weeks ago. Long story short, the EVO bought the farm in a tragic canoe accident... The EVO was my first foray into the Android world after coming from VZW and BlackBerry so I desperately need to get another Android device because I'm going absolutely nuts having to revert back to the ic902 after having an EVO.

Yes, I'm hoping my sob story has some influence on the final decision and no I'm not to proud to admit that. I'll do what I need to in order to get my hands on this amazing piece of Android goodness!
