Epic 4G is the Android I have been waiting for! I can hardly wait to get my hands on one. Per chance, I will randomly win one! ;)

Nothing would be better than getting the women out of her Palm and into an Android!!

This phone could be it...

I'm a bb user (8330, Tour 9630 and now Bold 9650) and must say that I'm very intrigued by the android phones and this one seems like it would be the one to get me to convert. I love the fact that you can customize this phone to your liking for I'm very particular as how I like my setups. Winning this phone would probably bring me over to the Android side for good...

P.S. great community you guys have over here!

Ralph

Once again Pleasse and Android Central Rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe how well the epic turned out, I had been worried that a keyboard based device would end up like the moment, But they did a great job. If I had the money to snag one I would just so I could switch between the evo and it at will. (Plus my wife would love to steal whatever I'm not using to take the place of her pixi.)

:D

Can an Free Epic solve an "Epic" number of my issues.....WHY YES!

I have been a frustrated Pre user for just over 1 year now. I started with a Handspring Treo almost a decade ago and have been happy with Palm devices for all those years....until the Pre. While WebOS is nice, the hardware, apps, lag, etc.... are quite frustrating for a impatient quasi-power user like myself and I'm finally DONE!

So now here I sit, looking at the Epic that seems to have everything I want. Months ago I decided that Android was for me even though every other device I own is a Mac (I run my business on a mac). Yes, iPhones are nice and would be quite compatible with my current technology platform, the problem is that I'd end up doubling my monthly price tag for my family plan and have a phone with a crummy voice connection and overpriced data and texting package! Months ago, it became quickly apparent that the next device I would need would be an Android device. With so many advances in hardware, apps, software, etc... it is really a no brainer!

Yes, the Evo is nice, but with the Epic I get the physical keyboard, amoled screen and a few other key features that set it apart for me. So why do I need a free one? As a Sprint Premier member, I can get a new phone but still have to shell out $250 which is quite a bit. I'm willing to do it since I use the phone non-stop for work and home use, but THAT DOESN'T SOLVE MY OTHER PROBLEM....MY WIFE! Don't get me wrong, I love my wife and I honestly don't know how I landed such a great one. The issue is she needs a new phone as well and we just can't afford to lay down $500 for 2 phones. I'd like us to be on the same platform (Android) but the Hero, Instinct and Moment are a far cry from the quality of the Epic and the woman who has born me 3 kids deserves the best.

Bottom line: A free Epic would solve my phone issues (get that Pre outta here!), my wife's phone issues, my financial issues, marital issues and give me an Epic day to look back on. Thanks for the opportunity all! Here's hoping......

Let me start of by saying that Android Central is my homepage on my computer and Hero! You guys are great! As a current outdated Hero owner I am really looking forward to a chance to win, in my opinion the best Samsung Galaxy S phone on the market.

I first got interested in the Android software last year when I got excited and purchased the HTC Hero. Since then I've dealt with a lot of disappointment; but yet, excitement as well. The fact that the Android software has such potential, has me even more interested in keeping up with the latest. I have just a month and half left and I can upgrade again.. THANK GOD!!! LOL But now I have a decision to make. I was really looking forward to getting the HTC EVO but then someone mentioned to me, to look at the Samsung Epic 4G. After doing some looking now I'm going to have to look at both devices closely and the Pro's and Conn's to decide which phone I want. I know that phones are going to be changing faster now and so will the software. What I do like about the Android software is that I don't have to buy new equipment in order to use the updated version. Proof positive with the HTC Hero. This phone went through 3 rev's (1.5, 1.6, & 2.1), even though they skipped 1.6, it was still available to download (at owners risk).. Anyways, October is going to be tough to decide what I want to get. But at least Sprint is starting to put out phones that people want.. I really look forward to deciding which device I want. Thanks for the info..

Although i'm still on the fence of whether I prefer the Epic of EVO, geting either for free doesn't hurt. Plus now that I have Google Voice over GMail I was able to downgrade my Sprint plan which allowed me to get a 23% corporate discount so now I'm saving MORE than enough to cover the $10/month "4G tax" :)

I have been satisfied with my HTC Hero for quite a while. My wife upgraded today to the Epic. WOW doesn't even describe the difference. This phone is amazing. I helped her get started as she is new to Android. I'm sure I will get my hands on hers to help her for a while to come but its not the same as having one of my own. I would love to upgrade.
