I would love to win one of these phones. I've had my Evo for a while and when I first got it my girlfriend made fun of it because she thought it was too big and thought that it wasn't quite as cool as her iPhone. Now she wants my phone or one like it because she is realizing how much better the Android OS really is. If I won this phone I could use it and give her my Evo or vice versa. At least I wouldn't have to share my phone with her anymore...

For now I am very happy with the EVO, but my wife's palm pre is really ready to be replaced. She hates that I have to buy a new phone every year to get my technology fix, but even she wants to upgrade to android. I was thinking the hero or evo, but the epic sure would do the trick as she really likes a real keyboard.

I love this site! Always giving away stuff to us devoted android fans. Anyway, y'all should really give this phone to my girlfriend, so I am entering this for her. She's got a pre, and really wants to switch to android, but she suffers from "I-need-to-wait-for-the-next-super-duper-phone-to-come-out-ism". It's really sad. And most likely my fault. Your site is just too good, and I can't stay away, or help sharing all your mad insight about the awesomest phones on the planet!

bought the tp2 last year, hate it now i got the samsung moment & realized android rules! but at $500 for an epic with only a $75 credit.... JESUS! if only sprint made me a premier customer.

I moved from the iPhone (user since the original 2G) to the EVO in June. I wasn't too impressed until I flashed Cyanogen Mod and experienced stock Android; and I gotta' say, the EVO + CM6 + Google Voice is a winning combination. I'm even in the middle of contributing back by making themes (Possible theme that improves upon stock HTC Sense / Swype Theme).

But man, MY EVO IS NOW DONE. The screen got completely destroyed today when someone bumped into me as was checking my email. I would seriously be happy if I were able to get back into the Android game with the Epic 4G.

Ouch! This affirms my past decision of purchasing insurance, at least for the first few months

As a Sprint customer, I have to say, for a long time I was feeling really left out. What, with all the new phones coming out on other carriers. Your iPhones on at&t, droids on Verizon, even T mo was getting mad Android love. Sure we had the Hero and the Moment, and for people that prefer Win Mo, the Touch pro 2. We won't even talk about the whole Palm and WebOS deal, good idea, terrible execution. But no real top of the pile, king of the hill devices...And then along came The Almighty Evo 4G. And suddenly we Sprint customers weren't so insignificant anymore. Following that milestone launch for Sprint, they didnt disaapoint with the follow up, and they have delivered to us The Epic 4G.
Things are looking up for us Sprint customers, and with Android exploding the way it is..let's hope we keep getting this love...A year ago people looked at Sprint customers like we were second class citizens....Not anymore....thanks to the Epic...who's laughing now...me, thats who...all the way to the bank, to deposit some of this money I'm saving on Sprint, while riding the subway enjoying all this glorious 4G goodness and lovely media displayed so vibrantly on the Epic 4G and that Super AMOLED DISPLAY(well, at least when I get The Epic...and 4G)...HAHAHAHAHA!!!!! (LAUGHING ANYWAY, JUST AT THE THOUGHT)!!!!!!

4g all around

I got to use an EVO 4g and tethered it to my laptop at work using the 4g network. It was faster then my office connection. Granted I didn't run and speed tests other than my basic observation skills. I was pretty impressed. Now "Clear" is offering a 4g mobile network solution (this is the Salt Lake City area). I can only assume that they are piggy-backing off of the Sprint network.

I love the approach that Sprint is taking of getting a family of 4g phones (well at least 2 for now) that both have the front facing camera. None of the other Galaxy S versions out there have that. Sprint is coming up in the world. It's about time. I've been with them for a long time. I'm glad to see it.

I called a friend who beta tests new phones at Sprint. They've been using the Epic for several weeks. They gave it an enthusiastic thumbs up, and liked it better than the EVO.

Guess I'll be retiring my Moto Q9C!

religious reader, occasional poster. been hooked on this site since I got my hero, and am thrilled that sprint finally has 2 premier phones in the Evo & Epic! Now just to replace my over-the-hill hero, and see how good android really can be!

The Epic 4G would be a awesome replacement for my EDGE Blackberry. Plus I actually live in a 4G area so I could take advantage of the additional speed.
