As much as I've been hoping to get a phone like this for myself, I'm really hoping that phones like this and the Evo bring more people back to Sprint...if more people respond to great phones like this, maybe they'll have a desire to build up their Android lineup like Verizon has been.

I like my Sprint Hero, but after having it for almost a year (and having been told to forget getting another upgrade), I'm ready for something much faster.

Well i guess it convinced me to register for an account never had an android phones, just a cheap maemo tablet (nokia n810) and ipod touch, guess it would definately be a big UP as for the os and hardware. Coming directly from canada (yes i know, no sprint here, not even 4g) but i want it so bad (for a big pmp/pocket pc/gps). Didn't see anything saying it should only be for us residents? Anyway, if anyone know how i could get a epic here in canada for around the same price you do in the us without contract, i am open to offers (even if i doubt anyone actually look at my first post since there is so much only for the contest)

Coming from a Palm device, the only thing I regretted about the Evo was that it didn't have a physical keyboard. I need to try out the one on the Epic and see how well it works.

Unfortunately, I'm not about to pay the unsubsidized price for an Epic, so even if I love the keyboard I'll be using my Evo for a while. Unless I win this contest, of course!

I have a Sprint Palm Pre, but I wouldn't mind changing it for an Epic 4G! I've been looking to switch into Android for a while, so now could be the time.

I hope the epic 4g (since the evo 4g is still in short supply) will finally get sprint a net positive in the subscriber base for next quarter earnings. It's a better company than most out there that doesn't screw us over as much as verizon or att.

I currently have an EVO and although I have gotten use to the touchscreen, I must say that I do like having buttons. The Epic looks to be a great device and a good competitor to the EVO.

I tried the Evo, but had a lemon that had to be returned. I am hoping that rooting and custom Roms will give me something close to the elegant and efficient notification experience I will miss from lovingly patched Pre.

Although I love my Evo I really miss having a slide out keyboard like my g1. That is a real competitor in my opinion. Not to mention the awesome display and I would love Samsung processor to kick up the gaming a little bit. But dang these skins to death. Touch wish looks like a cartoon but it might be more stable than sense. Any one know if it is? My sense on my Evo has been acting up lately. I'll press one link and it goes to another...I just want stock Android! But there is always Root and I know what site I would come to first to see how its done! Android Central ftw.

The epic 4g looks like such an amazing phone! The power from the hummingbird and the beauty of that AMOLED screen will make for a truly "epic" device. Now i must admit that after my brother got an Evo I've turned into a pretty big android fan, without even owning an android device (Pre owner). I check android central daily for all android news and would be proud to tell people where my Epic came from. Now my real problem is that I'm on my father employee account, the advantage club, which leaves me at the disadvantage of not getting the phone for a LONG time. As you can see the Evo is STILL not available for advantage club members. So i fear that it will be a long time before the epic makes its way to the advantage club, and into my hands.

Oh this would be perfect...

Me and my fiance just moved from Idaho to Salt Lake City and since I now live in a 4G market I have been wanting to move back to Sprint and this is the phone to get. It is not just the granddaddy of the Galaxy S line (at least here in the states), but in my opinion it is the best phone out on any provider. That 4" Super AMOLED, 1Ghz Hummingbird (and PowerVR GPU), MaxTouch Sensor, TouchWiz Interface, DNLA Streaming, and Music/Video Monster of a machine (the best PMP on the Android market, again in my opinion). Pick me guys , I really would make use of this wonderful creation.
