I got to play with an Epic 4G a week ago at a Sprint demo event and the screen was too incredible for words - it was like the postcard picture version of your favorite location. So make it real for me by randomly choosing my comment FTW!

i'd love to try one, i had an instinct so that is my only experience with samsung. also i got me and my niece evo's and she broke hers two weeks after she got it and can't seem to come up with the 100 bucks for insurance so i can try the epic and decide if i want to give it to her or give her my evo...

Samsung needs me to win this phone so they can possibly regain my trust in their hardware. I had so many problems with the Moment and their support for it that I have written off ever purchasing their products again.

HTC Hero sob story

I fell in love with my HTC Hero when I started using it with 1.5. Now that I've moved it to the official 2.1 build, it freezes up, restarts the OS, seems to drop more calls, and is just generally slow. Oh and the Bluetooth stack is especially hosed, which is painful given my new Nissan has integrated BT. Pick me, please!

The Epic 4g has sprint rating high in the Win Win choices of phone company's, hope that there are more coming to sprint. So who is going to talk about when the Froyo update will happen. Those that get it on release date enjoy! this can only be the begining of it all!!

I had the chance to try out the phone at a store near me and I agree with all the great reviews!! It is truly one of the best if not the best phone out on the market! Very fast

Definitely Samsung is on the right track, and Sprint too!!!

I truly believe that having a physical keyboard and especially the front-facing camera helps.

Moreover, I think that after having released the videoconferecing tool in GMail, it is just a matter of weeks to see a video-calls with Google Voice in ALL android phones. Would n't this be cool?

I have a Hero and I love it. coming from the Palm Pre which was stuck with no new devlopment, I decided to jump to the Android market. Getting an Epic 4G would be awesome as an upgrade for the Hero, since I will not get Froyo with the Hero.

This phone is most likely the best of all the galaxy s phone lineup. it has a beautiful screen, a great keyboard, and most of all its a great alternative to the Evo. I think the HTC Evo and The Samsung epic 4G will be great competitors and will easily become sprints most popular phones over the next few months (as long as sprint manages to keep them in stock). I'm really looking forward to seeing how android phones will evolve in the future.
