It would be Epic to win this phone and an Epic fail not too. I told my Girlfriend possibly future wife today that I sort of entered a contest to win a phone for her. She's been giving me a hard time on how my phone is so much better than her iPhone 3g (yeah i know not even an iPhone 4) and how she wants a phone like mine (the Almighty Evo). Telling her about this contest was probably a very stupid thing to do, I mean I might not want to part with the Epic. I know... that is selfish, one can't help but be tempted by phone domination. I really hope I win, if not I might have to slip her a "forget me now".

A simply EPIC Phone, From a simply Epic Contest.

Wow, i cant believe this is seriously happening. AC, you just listened to one of my biggest prayer, and that is to own one of these bad boys. I'm currently using a Samsung Exclaim from sprint, and i cant even begin to explain all the issues im having with it but i will say two of the biggest problems has to be the noticeable crack going down the screen and the extremely loose sliding mechanism, which makes it hard to pocket and type on. I've had this nuisance of a phone for about two years now and i cant stand it, but its really hard for me to upgrade to some thing better because of high prices for cell phones now a days, especially for smart phones, and some financial issues. i've been following the Epic though for quite a while now, ever since i saw the first leaked pics when it was known as the Galaxy S Pro, and i immediately fell in love. I just knew i had to get the phone, it would solve some of my problems a lot. The funny thing is, i found out about the phone on this site when i was randomly looking at up-coming phones one day. Routinely, i would come to AC to get the new scoop on this phone, and now i know every thing about it LOL. Ever since then AC has become my fav site to check in on android news and devices. It has made me very knowledgeable on the android OS, and even other smart phones too, to the point where i can say now android OS is my fav and i'm not afraid to say it. So yeah, i really want to win this phone, not just because it would be my first android experience phone but my first very own true smart phone and the first thing i ever won in my life. I'd love to get my hands on one of these for my wife. I'd be her knight in shining armor. She is hell bent on having a phone with a physical keyboard and this is top of the line from what I've seen. I just hope it functions well as a phone without all the little quirks that some of it's predecessors suffered from.

Best Buy

I had to go to Best Buy to get a price adjustment on a laptop I bought the day before. Well it turns out it was cheaper online, but I didn't know till I checked their website... Man they always try to rob me. But anyways while I was there I went to Best Buy Mobile to check out the scoop on the Epic.

I am rocking the EVO, so I wanted to compare. Well they didn't have a demo one for me to play it, so I had to make due with a dummy phone. I gotta say the keyboard is pretty sweet. It reminded me of when I had a Blackberry (I'm sorry Crackberry.com, I left you to go Android GREEN! haha). It did feel like typing on it could come pretty easy to me. The Best Buy Mobile person told me that they only had like five pre-orders and another five for walk ups. I was a little shocked about it.

I told the sales person I was kind of thinking of possibly switching to the Epic and she said she would still pick the Evo over the Epic. She was all about HTC and how she felt they did it right when it came to the android phones. But I didn't leave Best Buy empty handed sucka!!!!

This looks like a solid piece of hardware, can't wait to convert (back) to droid.
