WiFi hotspot capability sounds really good. I have been interested in having something like that for a while, of course with a screen that big, who needs to bring a laptop?

And the winner is....ME!!! Ha Ha

This phone is a beast, I can't narrow it down to just one feature that I like about the phone because they are all so GREAT! I mean a 1 Ghz processor, 4.3" screen (Huge!), Front facing camera for video chat and you know the occasional naughty times that some of you are going to have LOL, 8 MP camera that can record in 720 HD...All I can say is that this phone has been long overdue for a lot of us...Lets go Sprint! Ok for the sake of this contest, the best feature to me is the 4.3" Screen with the front facing camera :)

Access Point

Being able to use it as an access point is tremendously interesting. It just removes the whole bluetooth tethering need.

I have watched this site for upcoming news for some time now. I had to take this chance for my older brother and tell you the story behind it. I am a member of Droid forums and about six or seven months ago they had the rumor of this phone on the main page. My brother is a true blackberry fan and with all my previous attempts I could not get him to switch. I sent him a link and he was hooked. Had no idea the name or even the carrier it would be on. He had his fingers crossed for Sprint. Well lucky him. He loved all the specs and was planning on switching just to get this phone. He heard the rumor release date of June and Sprint and started with questions. I was watching this site every day for the info. First was price which I found when it was posted here at three a.m. I sent him a txt with the price. I can't say his response but can say he was very excited. Next was the release date which I also text him two days after he asked because Android central was on top of the info for me. Now he is even more excited. I have a HTC incredible which we were talking about how it will not do data and voice at the same time. Which leads to the next one. Will the Evo do it? The next day I checked here and the answer was on the front page. He is jumping up and down for that one cause he can use gps and the phone whenever he needs. Mine will but I have to be using the gps then can only answer an incoming call. Now he is so excited he was asking about pre ordering the Evo cause he didn't want to wait like us Verizon people have to. He wants to pre order one but has not done so. He is doing what I did and going in when they open to get one in case Sprint has the same pre order problem. I told him how I got a 2 gig memory card for mine which helped. The day after I told him the Evo was getting an 8 gig one. Now even more excited, if that's possible he can't wait for the Evo. I don't know if that's all the info I told him or if that was the correct order. I just wanted to take this chance for him. I checked out the hd2 and love the screen but can't switch from verizon for it and most of the other cool specs I have with the incredible. I have not told him about this contest and registered today just to enter. His birthday is June 22 and I would really love to be able to tell him that Android central not only gave me all the info to pass on to him but even gave me a new Evo just for him. I know this sounds hard to believe but is totally true. So to answer the question what he loves most. I would have to say THE EVO.

I am most looking forward to the GIANT screen and HD capabilities...but everything on this phone will blow my mind! Especially because I am switching from a Blackberry 9630 (Sorry CB Kevin)

PLEASE Pick me! I would LOVE to have this without breaking my college student budget!

I'm particularly excited about the speed. It seems that even though it's running a 1 ghz snapdragon just as the nexus one that it's out performing it. I could be wrong but it's the impression I'm getting from the web. Everyone talks about how it's blazing fast but it should be the same speed as the nexus one, right?

Android

For me its simple. I am just happy to be coming into the world of android. The open source os with all of its apps is what im dying to use. I've been a longtime blackberry user on att. Rim's lack of innovation on the blackberry devices is what is pushing me away. How can you deny a device with all of these specs. Its seems as if att gives android no type of love. I've been a month to month customer for almost 6 months and nothing. I mean come on now am i really supposed to get excited over the blackflip?! When I first saw the specs on this device my jaw dropped. I dont even live in a 4g area but it doesnt make a diffrence to me. I just cant wait for android in my life :):):):)

There really isn't one thing you can single out that makes this a desired device, it's an overall amazing phone! If I won this, I would definitely switch from Team Blackberry and join Team Android!

My feature that I am excited for is the HUGE 4.3 inch screen. But not for the reasons most people do. See when my hair is long and flowing as a guy sometimes you need to bring some supplies to take care of it when on the move. Well people can be so cruel these days as you walk in and out of stores go to the movies and eat out at a restaurant.

Poeple would see me pull out a girly portable mirror and they would laugh and ridicule me calling me names like goldylocks and sissyman. At first these did not bother me but as time has gone on instead of take this constant tongue beating I have decided to shave my head and wear subglasses everywhere as to not be noticed.

I feel that if I could get the HUGE 4.3 inch screen on the EVO 4G I could grow my hair again and I could do this proudly as anywhere I go instead of pulling out those girly supplies to take care of my hair I have a mans mirror in the Sprint EVO 4G. I could feel confident again and I feel people would point and stare but this time say. I wish I could be him look at his phone.

Now this may be a farsided dream but its my dream for a phone none the less. Here's to hoping my story has brought up enough emotion inside you to understand my pain. Thank you and all have a good day.

I'm most excited about the video recording (720p) because it allows me to always have a way to get my 20 month old son on video no matter where we are, and also record my wife as we're expecting our second (see this is why I need to win it free, cause the kids drain the $$). Then with the HDMI out, it allows me to share that on our HDTV or quicky upload to Youtube to share with family over WiMAX (coming soon to DC area) .

I'm excited to have a device, in every day use, that will replace our camera, GPS, 6 year old tablet pc, and 4 year old SD camcorder.

The records we'll be able to keep of our kid is just fantastic.

If i don't win one through you or sprint, my wife will never let me buy one. Please give me a phone. I don't even have to change carriers.

Dear Phil and the Android Central Staff,

With respect to your recent thread regarding the Evo 4G contest, I would like to humbly submit my interest in the form of a haiku:

Video chat, WHAT!?
Biggest, baddest smartphone specs
Voice plus data, SICK!

This phone will chop up the iPhone, stuff it into its pipe, light it and smoke it. Apple is terrified and had to "leak" their new phone because they know the Evo will ne a smartphone massacre!

The camera

I am all about the 8 meg camera that records in 720 definition and DIGITAL ZOOM, I have a trip I'm taking to Baltimore for a convention called Otakon and I will be taking pictures left and right of people all dressed up and decked out in their favorite manga/anime/video game/tv/movie characters

Video Chat

Video Chat on that massive screen, yeah that's sweet. Count me in for one of those. good luck to all.
