What I'm Looking Forward To...

I am jonesin for the "simultaneous voice and data". Nothing burns me more than getting 75% through a major 3G download and a call comes through. I even get calls from family members who are looking for a place or business or whatever. Then it's the tired routine, "I'll call you right back", hang up, search & find, write the info, call back to deliver. I was always jealous of that AT&_ commercial that brags about it. After close to 10 years with Sprint, I'm looking forward to the techno leap 4ward

Feature Most Exciting...

I would have to say a combination of the speedy processor and the Android OS iteself. Coming from Palm -> WinMo -> Pre, it will be a welcome upgrade. Don't get me wrong, I loved the Pre, but the H/W is so stale now.

My favorite thing about the EVO 4G? Would either be the WiMAX or the dual-camera system that allows for vid-conferencing on the go.

Also, it will be the final piece in my plan for world domination. Or at least, being able to check my email while on the L.

I am most excited about the Evo's mind control powers. That is the only explanation for how this phone has taken over my life, and it's not even in my hands yet. Yup, psychic mind powers. Maybe I'll use the Evo's powers to make my wife let me buy the hot-spot feature. That'd be sweet.

What I'm looking forward to the most about the EVO isn't just about the EVO. I have been looking for a reason to join Sprint for what even after the $10 premium device charge wil be $23 in savings every month over my current Verizon bill. I currently have the Droid Eris from Verizon and love the Sense UI, but feel the phone is lacking the power needed to run Android. With the EVO we have the worlds best all around device that brings all the items we dream about into one tight package. I can't wait to get the EVO, but because of my ETF I'm forced to wait until September.

If I win, this will allow me to pay my ETF with the money I have set aside for the phone and I will be one big happy camper! How often does an awesome feature save you $23 and month? Goodluck to all in the contest!

I'm excited about everything the Evo offers! Mostly the screen size though, it's huge (that's what she said) :-D

I'm most excited for the general video capabilities...720p, HDMI out, even the kickstand!

I have a 2 year old who gets the most use out of these sort of features on my Hero. She enjoys watching cartoons while we wait for our food at restaurants (using Toddler Video Player so she can't mess anything up by touching the screen). I have a hard case to protect it, but the kickstand would make this even easier so it can just sit on the table while she watches that huge screen! The HDMI out would be great for car trips...just store the videos on the Evo and pipe them into the in-car LCD using the HDMI connection. We would also use the same HDMi connection to quickly show grandma home video taken of her with the awesome 720p resolution camera.

Im excited about the whole phone, but believe it or not I am most looking forward to something very old school. the built in FM tuner!

This will come in handy at the gym where the audio from the TV's is broadcast over in-house FM stations.

What I Love About the EVO 4G

This has been a long, cold winter and I need a tan. I'm hoping that the 4.3 inch screen will radiate enough of Android goodness to make me less of a pasty white man.

Also, the place where I live (Yakima, WA) will be WiMax enabled, so I'm pretty excited about that.

First and foremost exited about it being the most technologically advanced piece of hardware and software on the market both released and rumored including the 4th gen iPhone.

And I'm most excited about the 4G Mobile Hotspot feature. I have an Wifi only iPad and want to use my phone to tether. Can't wait!!!
