Everyone can rehash the specs we all already know. What about what this phone will most likely provide in the (hopefully) near future?!

Come on! What excites me is not so much what it can do now, but what it COULD (and most likely will) do! Yum. Give. Me. Now.

Im excited about the Evo because first off the name EVO just sounds futuristic and that big screen makes it look high end to, then its own new service WiMax and on 4G, then the smaller camera on the the front for taking self pictures means no more crappy mirror pictures for facebook lol, plus its mad by the brilliant people at HTC winning it would be a dream come true especially because it would be a big upgrade from my metro pcs flipphone.

I am most excited about the front-facing camera and as well as the integrated 4G since my market gets it later this year. This phone is more than twice what the Verizon DROID is and is truly an amazing piece of equipment.

The feature im most excited about is the simultaneous voice and data cause at on point i did have an iphone and that was one feature that i loved the most especially when your on the phone with somebody and then there just blabbing on and on about nothing u really want to here it helps that u can do something else other than play a game offline.

Definitely the HDMI and hotspot capability makes this phone step out of the pack, there are already devices with snapdragons, 4.3" display and equivalent hardware out there but none of them explote the hardware as good as the EVO....

This phone has everything!

Ridiculously large screen w/ good resolution and color
FAST processor
WiMAX speeds for data
Good network w/ great coverage that doesn't rape you on monthly charges (Everything Data 450 plan is the best value of any carrier considering the quality of the network)


The best part... Retiring my aging 1st gen Zune and my slow ass Hero for a single device that does it all!

Favorite feature of the EVO

4G speeds are crucial for a lot of the other features but since 4G isn't available in a lot of areas I'll have to say being the first device (that I know of) in the US to enable 2-way video chat on a mobile device is what I'm most excited about.

I would have to say the video camera which can do 720p. Being a father of two, this is the best device yet for capturing memories of every life event.
