Would love to have this for the faster processor. App opening on the Pre is so slow. I like my phone, but speed isn't one of it's strong points. Also, WHEN 4G becomes available in my area, voice + data usage will definitely be a boon. This will also be my first Android experience. Can't wait!

will appreciate having a more modern browser than the circa 1998 ie 4 Blazer browser that I use on my treo 650... the EVO's screen size also is a major plus after the tiny one my treo... better integration with gmail, google voice, docs, calendar, etc very exciting.... crossing my fingers & toes ;-)

My favorite part about the evo is the chance to finally get my older brother off his blackberry and onto a compelling OS with awesome hardware. He's just one more added to my growing legion of android using friends! Mwauhaha

Kick-butt smart phone!!!

I'm currently using a Samsung A680 with a broken antenna.... don't really need to say a whole lot more than that. I considered getting a Palm Pre when they came out, but it just wasn't compelling enough and I wasn't confident in the platform. Android on the other hand ... it's going nowhere but up!!! After deciding on the Android it was just a matter of waiting for phone to beat all phones, and it's here. The jump to an EVO from a phone made in 2003 will be pretty incredible, but I think I can handle it! Would love to be picked. Thanks Android Central!!!

im most excited about b1tch slapping iphone fanboys with a superior device. and the fact that we also get to stick it to vz and att and every other carrier that cant get this phone. or run it if they did have it! lmao. as someone who is going to be having my first android experience, i look into the future with an open mind and the baddest phone on the market.

I'm excited about HTC Evo 4G, not because of one thing, but because of the fact that we have a whole lot of interesting features in one product.

We have a gorgeous 4.3 inch screen and few technical improvements like Snapdragon or Atmel maXTouch sensor. For me, one of the most important things is HTC Sense, which gives a bit of magic to whole thing. When you have such a large screen whit fantastic user experience you cannot be happier.
