I am most excited for the Evo and even want to change carriers from big red for it, Why? Cause my fingers are huge and that large screen should accomodate them, I have long suffered with this piece of junk Storm. So in addition to the screen being beneficial, I am excited to have a phone that will work without locking up every couple hours!

Actually even more excited about finally getting Android. Been waiting for my current phone contract (currently on a WinMo phone) to end and can't wait for Android!

A better question would be what features am i NOT excited about.. hmmmm... NONE.. i have a mt3G right now on AT&T... i am excited about EVERYTHING. and even excited about moving to Sprint from At&t cause its gonna save me $100 a MONTH!! I got to mess around with an Evo for a while the other day and that just made it worse... the 4th cant get here soon enough!!

Evo Excitement!

The thing that excites me most about the EVO is simply the fact that it is running Android.

You may wonder well how is that super exciting? Well with all the amazing physical features that this phone has, it is the operating system that is going to make them great! Having an open operating system that ROCKS as Android does will ultimately be the killer feature of this phone.

Could you imagine this being under the control of Steve Jobs. Sure you could have a forward facing camera, but he would limit it so you couldn't make video calls. And if he did allow video calls, it would have some sort of check on there to make sure you were dressed appropriately! So that forward camera would be useless.

If the EVO didn't have Android, there would be no wifi hot spot useage.

If the EVO didn't have Android, there would be no HULU watching, or any flash site of choice, on that beautiful 4.3 in screen .

If the EVO didn't have Android, the wall papers would be 4.3in of BORING!

So you see if Android wasn't a part of the EVO, all the other physical Awesomeness would be less awesome.

My favorite feature so far being on android 2.1 is the auto down volume when you pick up the phone to answer it. Add on the GHz processor ... two cameras ... HUGE screen and an incredible OS nothing can touch this phone!

Sup I just signed up but been lurking a while now.

I'm just stoked to get this top-of-the-line phone and get off AT&T.

I had an iPhone 3G and it got stolen while camping about 8 months ago. Besides holding my account, AT&T barely gave me the time of day. I've been on a $20 gophone since, not wanting to sign a new contract with them.

So $20 GoPhone for 8 months, can you imagine the list of features I'd like about the EVO?

Oh man please pick me! I have to buy 2 of these now, one for myself, and one for my girlfriend which is dying to get this and will be her first smartphone ever!

Coming from the Palm Pre I'm sure you can feel my pain with how slow it is. Although I used the 800MHz overclock patch its still not nearly as useful or quick as I would like a smartphone to be.

Goodbye WebOS....Hellooo Android!
