I've heard lots about the new Nexus devices, however, I've never used a Nexus. Android is great, and the 6P has better specifications like camera. I wouldn't mind a 5X though.

The other LG devices (Nexus 4 and Nexus 5) haven't done it for me where I live (marginal T-Mobile signal) so I'd rather see if the Huawei radios do a better job, especially since I'm on Project Fi and currently limited to Nexus devices ....
