of course i have and want to get rid of

the bb storm 2... i bought my first one on release day, second one about two months after because of screen issues and my third one will be here tomorrow because of random reboots and other issues. Instead of letting me just switch phones and pay the difference Verizon thinks by just sending me new phones that it will make me happy... It would be INCREDIBLE if i could just get an incredible and be happy with my phone once and for all

So when I had my 2 year contract renewal the only decent phone Verizon had was the HTC Ozone. Like all HTC phones it's pretty nice but windows mobile 6.1 (and the subsequent upgrade to 6.5) is just garbage. I'd love to have an Incredible to skip the remaining 1.25 years I have with windows mobile.

Hey whatup phil....well im using a storm 1. Does it get any sorrier than that? My girlfriend left me and yes she took the droid. Seriously, give me a reason to keep coming back to android central....thanks. I miss android.

My current phone really isn't THAT sorry. Except for the voice quality. I have a Droid. And though I love it all things Android wise and app wise, the voice quality for me has been quite a different story. Everyone says I sound like "I'm under water, muffled". It's become quite frustrating to have to repeat myself over and over very clearly and people pause and then be like "What?" It's become so frustrating I've had to end calls or TEXT the conversation with them. I took it to the Verizon store and they were like we don't hear any problems and sent me on my unmerry way because they couldn't replicate the problem.. Otherwise I looooove Android!

Now, when I had my Blackberry Storm 1 though.. Ugh. I wanted to throw that thing against the wall daily. From it's random reboots to running out of space for a minimal collection of apps on top of the memory leaks and reboots. Wow, my Blackberry Storm 1 was painful. So. This is why I'd like an Incredible.. To keep current and to make more people get Android phones by showing them what Android can do. I've already made two people get Droids(they don't seem to have voice issues). I love being able to multitask and feel like i'm using my computer and not some gimmicky iPhone. And I really like converting my friends from dumb phones, Blackberries, and iDon'ts, to little Drooooid Nation people like myself. :-)

I had a Storm 1 and after living uncomfortably with that for a year it broke. I switched back to my first cell phone ever, some Samsung music flip phone. I am going through smartphone withdrawl and can't wait to make the move to Android. Thanks guys.

storm 2

im on my 4th storm 2 its a POS and i would love to get away from blackberry and into something new and that has way more options.

I'm using the sorriest of sorry phones...the Blackberry Storm (and no, not even the Storm 2...it's the ORIGINAL Blackberry Storm!) For the last year and a half, I've been doing battery pulls at least 2-3 times a day. If I download more than 5-6 apps, I get messages saying, "Application memory is low. Please select applications to delete". This phone SUCKS! I cannot wait to stick this piece of crap under my front tire when I get a new phone!

I use a droid. but i would happily donate it if i were to recieve the new VZW incredible. Only god knows.

Need I say more besides "Palm Centro on AT&T"
Even if the drawing is completely random, I feel the suffering will be ended due to fate stepping in and handing me the new phone.

Thanks, in advance.

Im using a Droid. Its really cool, but now all my friends have a droid so I need to one up them so I can stay being "Mr Jones". I need to stay one step ahead!:D

I have a Samsung Epix, and boy, does it have problems- from the battery draining GPS, to the inexplicable lockups while asleep, to running Windows Mobile :p

Here is what life is like as a Palm Pre user.
  • The Palm Pre has a wonderful automatic opening feature which causes the phone to slide open in my pocket and nudge my nads, thus ensuring my sterility. Who needs contraception or a costly vasectomy? Just buy a Pre and carry it in your front pocket.
  • Life is also wonderful being the laughing stock of...well, the world. I dare you to maintain your self esteem and pride at the resulting chorus of laughter and mocking directed your way when your answer for the question, "What kind of phone do you have?" is "A Palm Pre". It's frikkin' ego shattering man.
  • Some people hem and haw about the "right" way to break up with someone. Many people don't like confrontation and end up staying in relationships they really don't want to be in simply because breaking up is not an easy thing to do. Well for all of those folks, I recommend the Palm Pre. You see, due to the cheesy design and cheap construction, my keyboard has the comma and period key's broken. To explain, I'll relate a recent text message exchange between my girlfriend and I. She had contacted me via SMS this weekend to inquire as to what I was doing, presumably to ask me to hang out or chisel the callouses off the bottom of her arthritis-ridden feet (she's 34 years older than me...she has her own money. Cougars Rule!). She knew I was at my aunt's farm but I figured I would respond nonetheless so I replied with what I was doing at that exact second: "hey im helping my uncle jack off a horse". My Pre ended a relationship that was entirely based on sex simply because the comma key broke. Thanks a lot Palm. Oh crap...I just realized I no longer have a girlfriend but I still have a Palm. Oh Lord of All Things Holy...please give me my dignity back.
  • Do any of you know how crappy the Pre battery is? No? Try to imagine having to recharge your battery between tweets. Yeah the Pre does tethering...YOU TIED TO YOUR CHARGER!
  • Those of you who don't live in a big city might not understand the importance of Google transit integration so let me explain. I live in NYC. It's super expensive to live here which means I have an apartment the size of your closet and I don't own any means of transportation. Sure I could reclaim my old bicycle from my parents' house and use that to get around but how frikkin' cool do you think I will look pulling up to my favorite hang out on split-pea soup colored schwinn with a sparkly banana seat? It doesn't work man. So mass transit is how I get around. Oh but guess what? The Pre doesn't have this feature. So I'm stuck trying to find my way. Yeah I could print out a map and use that but I already told you I live in an apartment the size of a closet. Trust me when I saw I don't have the space for a printer.
  • Oh yeah, and without the ability to figure out how to get anywhere, I can't partake in any fun. About the only thing my Pre is good for is receiving a call but even that's a double-edged sword because the calls I get are usually to tell me about all the fun I missed out on the night before because I couldn't find my way to the place du jour because this frikkin' Palm Pre hockey puck isn't capable of that! So I get calls like, "Hey man, you should have been there last night! There were like 7 girls to every guy. Even that fat kid that always wears the Battlestar Galactica shirt who hangs around Paul hooked up." All because my phone is crap.

I could go on an on but the more I recall these incidents, the worse I feel. Whether or not I am lucky enough to win an Incredible from the generous folks here at Android Central, I will be happy if just one person heeded my stories and stayed away from the Palm Pre. It's soul-sucking man.

I am currently using a Droid. However, like most people in these forums I am in love with Android and want to stay up to date with the latest and greatest. If you give me an Incredible I will give some lucky forum member a slightly used Droid!

I need an Incredible to replace my incredibly slow Droid...

The Droid is great, but it is lacking the processing power to handle multiple things going on at once. I especially get annoyed when a call comes in while I am doing other things, and I can't swipe to answer the call because the GUI doesn't respond fast enough!

My sad little Tour seems to only hold one advantage over the Incredible, a standalone GPS chip. Beyond that I have constant memory leaks resulting in the need to restart, for some reason even when the sound profile has been changed back to normal it still vibrates instead of using ringtones. The trackball, well I don't need to go into the trackball, it's a typical Blackberry crappy trackball. If I were eligible for an upgrade I would be all over this, the aGPS chip is the only iffy part I can find with this phone. It is better in every other way than my Tour.

I would love to win this phone, instead of course dropping $500 on it Thursday assuming I'll even find one.

I'm sure I'm not the only one with an original BlackBerry Storm. I promise if you give me an Incredible, I won't try to click the screen!

An EnV touch. Need I say more.

I really want to get an android device. My wife got the Droid when it came out and I got stuck with the Env Touch. Required data plan on a phone that doesn't work very well on the internet. Please choose me for the INCREDIBLE chance to win the phone.
