LG Voyager (WON'T) (Please Help)

I've been the owner of a LG Voyager for over 2 years. Here is my experience - phone WON'T charge, replacement phone touch screen WON'T work, latest phone still WON'T charge and the touch screen still WON'T work!!!!!!! Please give me a phone that DOES.

I'm currently using a Palm Pre... which can barely last me half a day without a charge. Plus, I live in the Google Apps world, so I'm itching to switch to a device that handles Gmail the way it was meant to (not to mention a phone that works seamlessly with my Google Voice account).

I STILL have a Motorola Sliver or SLVR or whatever the heck they called this piece of crap almost 4 years ago when I got it. I have Verizon and kept waiting and waiting for the Nexus One and once I got news of the HTC Incredible, I knew my wait was over! My current phone loses its battery in less than 12 hours, it freezes about 3 times a week, and the directional pad buttons have all fallen off, leaving the sticky plastic underneath to navigate the extremely basic menus.

Did I mention that I hate my phone and promise to LOVE and care for my HTC Droid Incredible?

Using a Storm for the Past 2 Years



I rely heavily upon my mobile device for work. When I am not in the office, I am expected to still service my internal and external customers. For this reason, I was a big fan of RIM Blackberry devices.

For the past 2 years, I have been using a Storm. What a torturous and frustrating ride this has been. I could write a novel about all the shortcomings of this device but, I will not. What I will leave you with is this ...

Due to the poor implementation of their user interface, I am currently seeing a Chiropractor for adjustments and physical therapy. The muscle attached to my thumb has atrophied as as result of a nerve that goes through the Carpal Tunnel no longer making proper communication.

Since my contract ends soon, I am looking for a device with a virtual screen (without having to click like the Storm) and that uses MicroSoft Activesync for my Exchange e-mail. I have tried the Moto Droid and the HTC Eris but, am waiting for the Incredible since my contract with VZW does not expire until July.

Please pick me!

It could be worse...

BUT - it could be a whole lot better. I'm currently using a re-furb BlackBerry Storm 1. The phone works, but I'd be happy to give it away for something a little more INCREDIBLE!!

Verizon blackberry Tour (the original 9630 piece o crap). I basically got this because my wife wanted a new blackberry to replace her old one and they were buy one, get one free. I was tired of my LG Voyager so I said what the heck. Biggest piece of junk phone. It's been replaced once, the trackball only works sometimes and it gets hung up a bit. The "Blackberry Tech" at the Vz store said I just need to pull the battery every day or so, all Blackberries need that. OK, whatever... I want to replace it but still have 11 months left on contract. A free one would be awesome though. Thanks in advance guys!

I have a scratched up Dare that must be charged 2-3 times daily. Not only that, but it is complete with one of those foul-smelling, glow-in-the-dark orange cases that VZW says weren't allowed to cure long enough, AND it recently erased my ENTIRE 4gb card & corrupted it beyond repair for no apparent reason...do I need the INCREDIBLE? I'd say so! Please?

I want a droid incredible

I am currently using a droid eris, the often forgotten phone hiding in the droids shadow. It runs HTC Sense (which I love), but with a lot of lag, and some times the keyboard takes 3-4 seconds to pop up. The when the phone is running more than a few apps, which happens often because of multitasking on android, it is very slow. I wanted a nexus one because of the performance, but now that this Droid Incredible is out, it is the perfect phone, it is fast, has a great interface, has a great screen, has a great design, and most importantly it has a great network-Verizon-the one I am currently stuck on for 2 years with my incredibly slow phone.

It's time to replace my T-Mobile MDA (HTC Wizard) running over edge through a dumb-phone proxy server data plan. You have to press on the case really hard in just the right spot to get the screen to stop frittzing out enough to read text.
