I've got a Blackberry Storm 1. My current one (replacement #4) is no longer on warranty, and has picked up the nasty habit of crashing with memory to spare, and somehow eating up 90% of the battery on reboot (which means the radio shuts down to save power). I'm stuck in a family plan right now, so I'm out of luck until December replacement-wise. I've been wanting to make the switch to Android for months, but now I'm really getting desperate. Besides, yet another defector from the Crackberry forums couldn't hurt, right?
Just tryin' to make my rent payment this month. WOuld luv' an Incredible. USing a pay per minute throwaway. Getting a job starting next week...can afford the phone......Thks so much
Here's the story I had a Motorola Droid and absolutely loved it, until it got stolen. Now I'm back to using my old craptastic Samsung Alias 1 from back in the day. The low resolution screen pains me to look at, I can't go from the Droid back to this phone. I need a new Android phone!!
I've been using the BB Storm 9530 for some time now. That alone should be a good enough reason to win this Incredible. Aside from that though, my contract ties me to it for another 5 months. Ugggghhhh.

I'm currently using an insanely underpowered HTC hero. I feel like every time I click something on the phone I have to wait and wait,

I have an enV2. It blows. The up and down button on the front fell off. The screen outside is very tiny. The vibrate is almost nonexistent, which is great when I can't find it. It constantly malfunctions. It turns off on its own, and the autolock is a joke. I pocketcall maybe once or twice a day. The camera is absolute garbage.
And it's my THIRD enV2. The first one's internal screen died around December of 08. Then the same thing happened again in December of 09. Same time, same problem. The phone is unusable without that internal screen. I hate this phone. It was released in 2008 but feels like it's from 2004.
Please, Android Central. I need a new phone. A real phone. An Incredible phone. I've been trapped in the dumbphone prison for almost a decade now, and I need liberation.
Help me, Android Central. You're my only hope.

So I'd just like to give my heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the BestBuy agents that sold it to me - AFTER they realized they didn't have the Moto Droid I originally wanted. Buggers.

im running a blackberry pearl 8130 from alltel.. that tells you how old it is.. 64mb of app memory? i cant multitask without a freezeup anymore. its quite sad really. and the trackball.. dont get me started....
I'm a hobby developer, and I've got a year to go on my iPhone 3G. I'm sick of Apple telling me what I can and cannot develop. One of my apps took 90 days to get approved, and they made me rate it 17+ just because it allowed access to Gmail. I don't exactly have the extra cash to get an Incredible off-contract, and to make matters worse, the Incredible isn't even going to be available from my carrier in the foreseeable future.
I'd love to ditch my iPhone 3G in favour if an Incredible, so I can start making android apps and give S. Jobs the finger!

My phone is an "ancient" Sanyo MM8300 on Sprint. The antenna snapped off and the camera software no longer works, it just takes you back to the main screen. Using the text-based browser is an exercise in frustration. If this contest were for the sorriest phone, I think I'd have a good shot.
Dying Blackjack II needs to be replaced
My Blackjack II has seen better days--
I?m afraid it?s fading fast.
It seems it was just yesterday
It was unboxed, but time has passed.
It doesn?t seem as shiny, nor
as pleasing to the eye.
And it doesn?t help that my daughter played
Games on it after eating pie.
So it has tiny fingerprints,
and some scratches and some dents.
But what I?m scared of most of all

To listen to some songs last week,
I ran Kinoma Play.
It sounded like a scratchy 45
From ?69, not from today.
And please can you explain to me
What makes Google Maps insist
That every trip, no matter where I start
Must end at Best Buy (it?s futile to resist).

It just can?t get things right.

droid is getting long in the tooth
the sorry old phone i have is the droid. yeah it seems sorry n old given the sweetness of the incredible and other options out there. i want to be INCREDIBLE!!

i have a droid. gotta have the incredible though so i can give my brother my droid. it would be like Christmas for me, and him. two birds with one stone, i think yes.
The phone that I'm using is the Palm Pre for Sprint and I'm looking for every reason to get RID OF IT!!!! Random crashes, laggy software and HORRIBLE battery life. The only bright spot is that it multitasks really well other than that, PLEASE HELP ME GET RID OF IT!!!!
A Samsung BlackJack II. Remember those? And Windows Mobile is sooo 2005, after seeing the Droids I can barely stand it anymore!
