Subject: Sprint - Assistance with my order - 349xxxxxx

This is for customer service. I do not blame Sprint, HTC, or Wirefly for the delay of the HTC Evo 4G LTE. I do blame Wirefly for the lack of customer service and lack of communication. This is my second time ordering from Wirefly and most likely my last. Even Though Wirefly has had the best prices customer service is lacking. No email updates or anything. And that is unacceptable to me . So even though the prices are great customer service is more important to me.
Thank you

^ That's the exact response I received. I didn't get the update email from them...hmm...I ordered on 5/11 at $139.99.

email from Wirefly:
Dear XXX XXXX,

Thank you for ordering from Wirefly Friends and Family Store.

Great News! We learned overnight that US officials finally cleared the Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE shipment and they will soon be on their way to Sprint and, of course, us.

We do not have a definitive delivery date yet, but we’ve done this many times before and we can assure you that the phones will literally spend about 1 hour in our distribution facility before we ship them out the door.

To be fair to all of our customers, we are shipping the phones in the order in which the purchases were made. We will send you an email as soon as your device is ready to ship. If you wish to make any modifications to your order, now would be a good time to do so because when the phones arrive, we’ll be heads-down working to get them out the door ASAP.

We are glad that Sprint, HTC, and the US Government were able to come to agreement because this is one incredible device and from everything we’ve heard, worth the wait. Thanks again for shopping with us. We appreciate your business.

Sincerely,

You Friends at Wirefly Friends and Family Store

This is what I received this morning, it's not shipped notification but it's something. I think WF communication is pretty good.

Nothing new here.

No updates like the rest of those who ordered directly thru sprint.

I ordered through Amazon and the same here. I don't think I'll ever pre-order with a third party anymore....I ASSumed that all pre-orderes would be sent out on the same day (assuming they had their inventory in prior to). Oh well. Hopefully those of us who ordered from a third party will hear something soon.

Just finished up a chat with WF and was told that they do not receive phones directly from HTC but rather from Sprint. This is contradictory to everything I had previously heard from WF or on this forum. I called Sprint to confirm and was told the same thing. HTC has a contract with Sprint and Sprint then has a contract with the indirect distributors. Not to say they couldn't have HTC dropship the phones directly to WF but whatever...

Anyway, Sprint told me that they received the phones on the 21st and shipped them out to all of the indirect distributors. The idea was to get the phones to everyone who preordered, through Sprint or otherwise, at the same time. If this is the case, then WF should have tracking info on their shipment and should be able to give us an ETA. Man, WF customer service blows.

Yeah that is sad to hear... Looks like we probably won't get it until next week then... That's fine I guess.. for saving $80.

It's just a phone at the end of the day :p

I'm pretty sure once I get mine in my hand I'll be messing with it for a total of a couple of hours and then stop playing with it...

"Finally! I just received HTC EVO LTE and never got any tracking numbers or email updates!"
Not... this is what I was hoping to find here, but I'll just keep dwelling on my old-old Motorola Q9c with a cracked screen window that can't reply to texts for some reason. I lost my original EVO a month ago and decided to pre-order the new one while hanging in there with my old-old Mot Q9C. My friends are dropping like dead flies and my social world is also dying faster than our economic collapse thanks to not communicating... and not 'Checking in' my locations through Facebook. I've gone from a Virtual Socialite to a Virtual Social Hermit Crab in about a month... But once I get my new EVO LTE I will rise from the ashes and start rebuilding my failing social networked life! Yay, I can't wait to post my where-abouts and must-see pictures!

I'm just glad there aren't a bunch of people in here posting the same damn thing over and over. (where is the rolleyes emoticon? ;) )

I ordered my HTV EVO4G from WF about 18 months ago to save some money. Then Sprint CS told me they were charging me to switch service from my Pre to the EVO since I bought it from a 3rd party retailer so I hope those of you who ordered from WF don't have the same experience.

This phone has us busy and we are really really excited like all of you! That being said, I can promise you all that as soon as we have the phones in stock and we get the go ahead to ship and/or the phone is officially launched, we will start shipping them out to our customers as soon as possible and in the order that they were received.

If you pre-ordered, you should have gotten an email from us This email is the most current information that we have for our customers. I apologize to any of you who pre-ordered with us for any confusion that our representatives might have caused you on your order(s). If you have any specific issues with your order or if there is a question that I can answer for you, please send me a PM or you can post it here, and I will be happy to do what I can do address and resolve things for you.

If you feel you have gotten confusing or conflicting messages from one of our representatives, please PM me so we can look into this with our Customer Service management team.

I've ordered every phone for the three lines on my account from various 3rd party retailers over the years and never had any issue, I think you must have misunderstood the charges.
