Wireless charging mod in new GM vehicle

I just purchased a new GM Yukon and it has a wireless charging pad built into the center console. Unfortunately it did not work properly with my Note 8.
However I ran across this video with a really easy fix for this issue, so thought I would post the link in case anyone else can't get their Note 8 to wireless charge in their new GM:

I followed instructions and it took me 10 minutes to fix the issue, and my Note 8 now charges wirelessly from the center console.

All you have to do is slide it back slightly, tilting the bottom up on the back and it works fine.

I tried moving the phone to every position, but could not get it to charge with my case on.
I followed the video and it now charges with the Samsung Alcantara case on the phone.

Mine works with the case on. I just put the top of the phone right behind the warning, which requires the back to be up on the back and it works every time.
