Wireless Charging, Must-Have or More Trouble Than It's Worth?

So has anyone found a wireless battery charging receiver that does NOT interfere with the Note 3's NFC (Near Field Communications) for S-beam, etc.? Most of the reviews I have read online seem to indicate reduced range or smaller sweet spot (or no S-beam connectivity at all after installing a Qi battery charging pad).

I use cheapo ebay $12 charging pad. No problem with NFC, wireless charging or S-Beam.

But the best use case is for the people who are sitting in a desk for a good part of they day. For those people, its much nicer to just drop the phone one the base for the time when you are sitting at your desk and then pick it up when you get up. Its less wear and tear on the phone, and if you spend any amount of time sitting, you will always be at 100%.

I'll try to set something like this up as soon as I receive my charging pad too.

Another question would be the effect of "constant charging" on the battery. I mean you would probabyl "dock" the phone for charging at least 5-6 times a day everytime you sit on your desk. Would this tipe of charging have any effects on the batteries life span?

I've heard some people say it might, but my personal opinion is that if it does at all, it doesn't reduce the overall lifespan by much, and even if it does, its worth it for the extra convenience. If I have to buy a replacement battery in a year, it will have been worth it,

Does anyone know If the Qi Unit works when using an Otterbox commuter case?

Is it really $99.00 for shipping?

No. If you are paying that much, might as well get the official Samsung back cover.
