Using DasBamF GB with Sense 3.0, wireless charging does not work for me. Using the new TB wireless back as well as the LG Qi charging Pad from Verizon.

Anyone have any tips? Is there a Kernel that could fix this? Do I need to revert to the non-GB ROM?

Done a search and it doesn't seem like anyone has posted about this yet.

Thanks ahead of time!

Sense 3.0 RC2 has charging issue fixed with included kernel.

Sorry, I didn't read post correctly. Don't know how to fix your problem.

Thanks for your reply. Do you think using the RC2 ROM instead along with the included kernel will help? Also, do you think the problems I'm experiencing could be due to the same charging issue you are referring to?

I'm just trying to see if someone out there knows more than I do about what I'm experiencing.

Update: Reverted back to DasBAMF non-GB version and it is working fine. Would rather have a GB ver. that supports wireless charging especially with Sense 3.0. Anyone have any success with getting it to work with such a ROM please let me know!

the charging issue he's referring to has to do with the kernel, and not needing to select internet passthru to get a usb charge, i dont think it has anything to do with your problem with wireless charging, since it's a usb fix.

I would guess that wireless charging would need to be enabled by the kernel on some level. The problem probably isnt the rom at least. If i had to guess that is.

Thanks again for your reply.

I've spent today switching ROMS. No Gingerbread ROMS I've tried have the wireless charging working at all. I've tried almost every ROM out there to see if it would work. The only one that works is the older DASBamf Remix 1.6 (I think 1.6). I've reverted to that currently. Does anyone know what needs to be enabled in a ROM to support wireless Qi Induction charging? Not sure if it's a kernel issue, a ROM issue, or a radio issue (since no GB ROMs have worked for me at all)

Also, perhaps my thread needs to be moved to Rooting section, not the general discussion.

Edit: I see your reply where you advise it may not be the ROM but the kernel instead. Now I just have to find a kernel that has enabled the wireless charging.....but it seems that no one uses this feature but me.

Edit2: ** For anyone having this issue being re-directed here, refer to this testing thread for details on wireless charging implementation by one of the developers, Imoseyon**

Ok, I just got my charging back today, hooked it all up and nothing happened. Just for fun of it, I tested it out on my wife's TBolt as well. It works on hers. Her TBolt is completely stock, mine is running DasBamf GB w/ Sense 3.0.

The joy of being an early adopter...

Anyway, has anyone definitively solved this yet? I had some difficulty understanding the conversation on the developers thread that was linked to.

I don't think its a ROM issue. I think its because we use frankensteined kernels (root users, on stock obv you use the stock kernel), made up of parts of other kernels from other HTC phones. Once the kernel source is made public I think you could expect to get wireless charging back.
