Wireless charging not working since upgrading to Nougat

I upgraded to Nougat on April 22 and since then my wireless charger isn't working right. When I put the phone on the charger the blue light on the charger lights and the bullseye thing shows the current level of charge minus 1% then quickly changes to the current value. About a second later it does it again, never increasing. After a while I get a notification stating that there was an irregular charge.
Has anyone else seen this or knows what to do?

It's something like a dendrite, but I've never seen one cause exactly that sequence of events. I'd bring it to Samsung (if you're in the US, try Best Buy - they have Samsung employees working in the cellphone departments - look for the person with the Samsung polo shirt. If you're in Great Britain, I believe it's Cellphone Warehouse that has the Samsung employees.)
