With no LED, any way to have persistent notifications?

yes - sorry for the wrong name. That is the name that comes up in my apps on my phone but on the Play Store, you are referencing the correct name.

One other question. Is it a stand alone app or does it supplement the native edge lighting on the S10?

it is a stand alone app. But it supplements the Edge Lighting. I have both enabled. I get an audible alert, I look at my phone and the Edge Lighting in the color I have chosen is going AND the aod notify lighting is also going (I chose to have it light up around the camera lens). The Edge Lighting then stops and the AOD Notify continues to blink off and on for 15min or until I open and look at my app (whether it is email or text messages or what).
