Have you tested T-Mobile in your area lately? My cousin in Harrisburg PA had said in the last year coverage has improved a great deal there.Verizon has never seen a reason to offer incentives to stay or switch to them. Truth is, their network is still superior to the others no matter how much advertising Sprint and T-Mobile advertise otherwise. I’d switch in a heartbeat if someone was better for less (or the same) because I am not a fanboy to a brand. While not always true, I find these incentives desperation to compete rather than to add on to their already “amazing” network.

I'm outside Chicago also. I remember many discussions with you from the Turbo thread. Two of my friends have T-Mobile and both have more signal issues than I do. They’re both ready ready to switch back to Verizon because of it. This is in the Chicago area including the city and outer suburbs.
I’m using an iPhone 7 on Verizon.
Friend #1 is using an iPhone 7 on T-Mobile.
Friend #2 is using an iPhone 6S+ on T-Mobile.
So it’s as close to accurate as we’re going to get.
Edit: Don’t get me wrong, T-Mobile has improved but they still have more issues than I’m willing to deal with. The price difference between the two isn’t enough for me to leave Verizon and lose some coverage. But if they work well for you or anyone else that’s great. Choice fuels the mobile industry in becoming better.
