I've been setting up a Nabi tablet for my granddaughter for her 6th birthday so this is perfect timing. Seuss books, easy games, fun stuff.

I've thought about this for my grandchildren (5 & 9) but wondering how soon they will outgrow the "look." They will be sharing in. They typically use their dads iPad or my Nexus7. I was thinking about getting them a nexus7 for Christmas, or maybe an iPad mini if there will in fact be one.

Would love to know about some of the games and fun stuff apps you got for her. I've been looking and many contain so much rough stuff. One very interesting game I downloaded is Cogs.

Got fifa12 from EA sports. EA are pretty buggy normally but for 25p I suppose it will be OK. Also got The Cat in the Hat, and the sleep one for my son.

Tempted by the nfl one but again it is EA..

Hell yeah best sale ever! I've bought like 8 apps already. I recently purchased horn which is like 7 bucks regular price! I also got dark knight, great big war game, zombie smash, double twist alarm clock, password manager, world of goo, tune in radio pro and hd widgets.

Is Nova Launcher worth it? I am still using the default Android one...

I bought it just because time was running out and I have seen previous recommendations on other posts. I have just played with it for a few minutes and the first aggravation is you have to format your home screens from scratch. I tried the import option and it only imported a fraction of my default homescreens. I'm not sure i want to rebuild just to see what it does from there. i haven't had a problem with the stock launcher, I just grabbed it because it was on sale. Is there a hidden benefit that I don't see on the surface?
