My sister ordered me this phone as an early christmas present and according to the tracking number it'll be here in tomorrow or the next day. I'm coming from the OV so anyone whos come from the OV explain to me the change. Or are you happier with this more than the OV? I just want to get super pumped up for this phone so I wanna hear peoples feedback

Well, lets start off with the pros when comparing it to the V:

-Slide out QWERTY keyboard
-800MHz processor
-Seems to get better reception
-LED Indicator Light
-Android 2.3 Gingerbread

Now, the cons:

-To wake the phone up you need to hit the Power/Lock button at the top. Clicking any of the physical buttons at the bottom won't wake it up anymore.
-MicroSD slot is underneath the battery cover so get used to having to pop it open to get the MicroSD.
-The screen on mine doesn't respond to my touch about 10% of the time, maybe it's just my fingers, I don't know. But I usually have to just tap the icon/item again and it works.
-The screen will seem more blander than the V, in terms of gamma. Don't know if it's just mine but when comparing it to the Opt V, the V's screen is more crystal.
-The microphone is on the front under the physical buttons. Only reason I say this is a con is because if you're trying to record something, it's easy to cover the microphone up with your hand if you try holding onto the phone tight. Unlike on the V is was on the very bottom and very easy to record with.
-The Home and Menu button is swapped and will take some time to get used to.
-There is no dedicated Voice button.

Other than that the phone is a great phone if you like to text and be social. The QWERTY keyboard, from experience, makes typing 100% smoother and better without making any typos.
