Woot! Order status changed!

I got a verizon email on the 25th saying my order is in que to be processed but have not gotten anything else yet. Order started with 327.......

Oh well, I should get it by Thursday. Atleast thats what the online store advertised.

Just checked my online back account and Verizon has charged me so I guess its a go.

Mine departed Newark 24 hrs ago. I live 1 hr from Newark by car. Hmmm....must be walkin' it over.:rolleyes:
 
In 10 minutes, mine will have spent half a day in Newark.

Anyone else on Long Island get theirs past Newark yet? I'm excited by the possibility of having my phone tomorrow, but that excitement is tempered by the knowledge that Verizon or FedEx could screw this up easily...

Don't get too discouraged mine spent 3 days in Memphis and suddenly went from departing Memphis to arriving in Minneapolis in 1 hour. I don't think their scans are very accurate.

That's my problem though, Verizon still hasn't charged me for the phone yet.
 
I called the Internet Orders customer service (as mine says the same thing) and the guy I talked to said different regions are processing orders at different rates depending on the amount of orders they have. He said that all regions should have pre-orders processed and shipped by tomorrow at the latest and that the region I was in he was very familiar that they were not processing until tomorrow. It has nothing to do with when you ordered it.

He did assure me that as of now all pre-orders that were placed will arrive thursday.

Thats all fine and dandy but to those who status changed to "Your order is currently being processed. Please check back tomorrow" you need to call and check and be persistent not rude about your order. Verizon's system automatically processes the pre-orders and if all goes well kicks it in to a "Your order has been processed. You should receive your order within 2 - 3 business days" status then to the shipped status with tracking number. If the system can't process your order then you will get the "Your order is currently being processed. Please check back tomorrow" status and it has to manually processed. Now Sunday night a bunch of orders got this message and when people called the next day some were told everything is OK you're in line to be processed but when pressed a little more some found out that there bank declined the charge thinking it was fraud or the shipping address didn't match the billing or some other reason. Had some not called and checked, they would have found out to late to get there order by the 29th. When I called the 1st rep didn't have a clue what was going on and said she needed to call me back which she never did. The second time I called the rep told me that because the 2GB card was out of stock it kicked my order out of automatic processing. That didn't sound right to me so I called again and the rep just simply told me that I'm in line to be processed everything is fine. Finally I called again and thats when I got James in the processing dept who told me my tax id didn't show up on my order and thats why it wasn't automatically processed. So he took care of me processed my order and even called me back when it was completed.
 
Mine got picked up by FedEx at 6am this morning in Ontario, CA. That's only 5 hours from me............Hope there's no delays!
 
Man i dont get some of you people! Espically the people who say.....ohhh i hope it drops tomorrow! The tracking gives u the delivery date! 99% of the time that date is very accurate! This thread amazes me! Take a deep breath, hold onto your sac, and have a little patience! All will be GOOD! :)

idk if you guys heard about the SMART30 coupon but you should call to get it adjusted cause verizon did it for me

Man, I really hope I get my phone on Thursday! I was hoping to get it Wednesday (tomorrow), but it looks like that's not going to be happen since I haven't received a shipment notification.

I'll give them a call first thing tomorrow morning.

Not trying to freak you out but when I see people with Order Status: Your order is currently being processed. Please check back tomorrow then I know the system didn't automatically process your order so just trying to make you aware. I know how badly people want there phones. And I don't think you'll get a call if something is wrong I think you will get an email and thats only after someone has physically tried to process your order, at least that is what Verizon told me.

I ordered today, and mine said that for a few hours before it updated, and I didn't have to call in. Calling deffinatlly won't hurt anybody though! :)
 
happy to see so many of my Newark, NJ compatriots getting their shipping status updated. Mine has been stuck on "Departed FedEx location NEWARK, NJ" since Monday night, 10:23PM, but I'm keeping the hope alive.

I'm still optimistic that a Federal Express stork will deliver the phone to my pillow before I crawl into bed tonight, still a day ahead of its scheduled arrival.
 
Haha...........it now shows that it is "In Transit"! Delivery date of the 29th. But coming from Ontario its only 5 hours to the FedEx warehouse by me. Maybe I'll get lucky and see it tomorrow evening. Better cross my fingers!!!
