I'd have gotten the Edge+; the screen and the camera are top notch. I've had every Nexus except for the N6, and my experience with a skinned Android has been pretty positive. Even now, I'm sort of still on the fence, but I'm sure the N6P will prove to be the better choice due to Google's support.

I probably wouldn't. Since going up to a 5.7" device with the note 3, I can't go back down in screen size. I find even the S6 to be too small which is weird considering since getting the Moto X PE I sold my note 3. When the 6P got released and I returned by XPE within the 14 day period and have been using a blackberry Q10 till the 6P arrives. The physical keyboard is actually a joy to use again, didn't remember how good it was, and the phone overall isn't so bad for such an old phone either since it can have the play store and apps (just not play services based apps).

If there were no 6P I'd probably still have ditched the XPE and explored the LG V10

I probably would have. I was originally dead set on getting a smaller phone over my Nexus 6, so the 5X would have fit the bill. But the hands-on previews have said the 6P feels better in the hand and it is premium, so I went for the 6P instead.

I almost definitely would. Nexus 5 was my favorite phone I ever owned and I'm desperately in need of a new one to replace my buggy htc one m8. The 5X is a great value and if it were the only option, I'd feel like I was getting a great phone with the stock android experience.

Honestly the only other phone that would tempt me if that were the case would be the new blackberry slider...as odd as it sounds to say that. It looks slick with that curved screen, and it reminds me of my old palm pre. I don't even remember what a physical keyboard on a phone feels like, but I think it'd be nice, haha.

<3 Palm Pre. I say the nexus 5 was my favorite phone I ever owned, but that's mostly because of how smooth and perfectly it worked. Nothing ever got me as excited as the palm pre. I'll miss that little guy forever.

I probably would if I hadn't bought a OnePlus 2. That's the device that spoiled me with screen size. I think the 5X is a perfectly capable device, and if the 6P didn't exist it would likely have wireless charging. If the battery life is decent, it should be a great phone.

Yep. It'd be best software and very respectable hardware. I might be more inclined to go Moto X Pure Edition (which I do have) ... but that Nexus experience calls to you, you know?

I probably would. I'm still running the droid maxx. I pre-ordered both and probably going to go with the 6P. Still considering waiting till spring for the 820 chip in a decent phone, but I don't think I can handle all the extra software they throw on and would be happier with a nexus

If Nexus 6P did not exist, I would have likely stayed with Nexus 5 I already have, and wait until next year. Since it does exist, looks so good, and is priced so well in the US, I decided to upgrade. If there actually was a Nexus 5P with the same metal body and same SoC, but with a smaller (but still QHD) screen, I would likely have had to think about which one to order.

Well originally i was planning to decide between the 5X and MXPure until going 6P. While I wanted the fingerprint scanner, I think I would have gone MXP since I like moto.
