That's what happens when you over price something lol. The price will drop $300 soon just like the 3's did ;-) Apple bent a knee and dropped their prices for the first time ever, because WE dictate what we'll pay, not the corporations

Absolutely right. I love my 3XL and everyone hated the notch. Same thing with the Pixel 4. Just funny how all these articles are coming out after the holidays of course!

Seriously, looks like the reviewer might have got a lemon. Should exchange the phone and see if the replacement has the same issues before condemning the whole line. Also, 10-13 hours SOT is the expectation for mainstream phones? Haven't heard that before unless it's a lab test running video with nothing else going on.

I had similar experiences with the battery on my P3XL. Eventually got a replacement from Google that worked perfectly. Just saying that that the reviewer shouldn't base a negative experience on one phone without seeing if it's just a lemon. BTW, the process of getting a warranty replacement from Google could not be much better. Pixel CS is outstanding.

Yeah very good point. A lot of reviewers get bad units from Google And they don't bother to get a replacement unfortunately. it's unfortunate that we have to take all these reviews with a grain of salt. Because what's the point of reading a review if they're all going to be annoying to read.

It will be interesting to see what sales numbers end up being.
I agree about the price. There have been numerous complaints about battery life, performance, timely updates, etc. If you are going to price a device this high it better be damned near perfect.

I'll say again after owning every Pixel, Pixel 4 XL is the best Pixel to date and has the best everyday experience compared to all the other older pixels. Obviously being the lastest Pixel it better be the best and to me it doesn't disappoint.

I just don't understand what people are doing on their phones where you can truly hate the phone/user experience? True, battery life is crucial. Other than that, I take pics, use apps/social media, text, email. I went from BlackBerry to HTC and now to the Pixel 4 XL, and after customizing it to my liking, I use it the exact same way as every other phone I've ever had.

I had a slow day at work today. I was at work, 8.5 hours, 5 hours of screen on time (yes, I used my phone for 6 hours today), I came home with 32% left on the battery..... I do not think I would have gotten 13.
