Absolutely! I even liked the look of the original Pixel, even though some didn't like the thick bezels. And it's definitely a great software experience!

Haha well I thank you very much! I'm not saying pixels are the most beautiful phones in the world compared to iPhones, Samsung Galaxy phones. But they can definitely hold their own that's for sure!

Eric there's no phone that will make everyone happy , I have and use many phones , I bought pixel 4xl because I like pixel phones I don't care if someone rates this the worst phone in the world or ugliest phone , I will buy WHAT I LIKE and to me it's the best pixel to date design,and spec wise .

Interesting thing going on with Messages.
I have my AT&T Sim in my Huawei Mate 20 X. My Pixel 4 XL is on beside me using WiFi. But I'm not using it. It's just on.
I texted my wife a minute ago using my Mate, but her replies come to my P4XL, even though it does not have a sim in it. I tried to respond to her text using the P4XL, but it won't send. So, I replied using the Mate. All of her responses come to the P4XL, not the Mate with the sim that my texts originate from. Weird.

Have had My Pixel 4 about two months and it is very good and have had no problems and it’s on December update, battery life is ok for my use, it’s a lot better than my last google phone a Nexus 4.

That's how RCS has been on T-Mobile for me. I used RCS on one phone, then switched my SIM to a different phone without turning off the chat feature in the old phone. Text messages went to the old phone on WiFi.

My wife's phone did the same thing upon initial SIM swap. It corrected itself soon after. We have TMobile too

Honestly, you make no mistake buying the pixel 4. Haters going to hate. I think it looks good for all the technology including the soli radar chip that it has inside of the front bezel. The facial recognition will improve with time and software updates so that's not a problem. And I think it's a very good looking phone overall. Very Google pixely. people said the same thing about the Pixel 3 XL with the notch! I don't mind the notch I've gotten used to it and it serves a function so power to Google. We all know that Pixel phones are not the most beautiful looking smart phones on the market anyways. It's all about the user software experience at the end of the day.

Thanks for the input! It's been an ordering fiasco to say the least. I ordered (via chat) 2 128gb 4 XL's and for some reason one ended up being a 64gb. So, that order was cancelled.....rep on the phone did the re-order....and sent the 128gb 4. So, I'm waiting on that to clear out to order again. Maybe the 3rd time will be the charm. Can't find it locally so that's a bummer.

I can echo this statement as it's been great 6-7 hrs of SOT and smooth experience. P.S I keep motivation n sense off because I don't have a use case for it expect when I go cycling I'll turn it on, mount it to my bike and switch tracks even though I'm wearing gloves. Other than that I keep it off since I don't use it and this might be helping me squeeze some extra battery but the 90hz has been forced via dev settings since day one. I love everything about this phone so far and it's the best Google has constructed. Excited to see what the p5 will be like.

Yeah mine with everything on and 90hz all the time getting 5 hrs SOT a day 16 hours

In the settings there is something called pixel tips which is very good and could potentially act as a high level manual. It lets you interact with the device, has screenshots, video and simulate. Just search the words "pixel tips" in the settings.
