Writing to external SD card - S4?

Hi everyone,

I recently got an S4. I have lot of games on the external SD card that need to write to it while they run (saved states, etc.), but they aren't able to. The card behaves as if it's read-only. This used to work perfectly on my Galaxy Ace. Any assistance is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Welcome to Android Central! Did you move the card directly from the Ace to the S4? If so, you might consider reformatting the card.

What android version you're using? On lollipop, Google completely made the SDCard read-only. Idk if on KitKat
