Is anyone using this Microsoft app in your phones? I was using it and it seemed pretty useful, but this notification shade (bar?) or whatever is it, was driving me crazy. It doesn't disappear and it takes big space, I simply don't want that thing there. Is there any ways to remove it?

What phone do you have?

When you say Microsoft app do you mean, running the Microsoft OS instead of Android?

Have you checked the other forums to see if there is one specifically for your device? Others using your device would probably have better answers that those you might find here in the general Ask A Question area.

This link will take you to a list of the different phone and operating system forums... https://forums.androidcentral.com/

I have Android, Redmi S2. I don't have Microsoft OS. I use this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.microsoft.appmanager&hl=en

It's app that connects and syncs your PC and phone together and it's from Microsoft. I kinda like it and Microsoft is pushing it's users to use it by advertising it, but this notification bar is huge. Really wish it didn't exist.

Yes, I installed it after Microsoft advised me.

When I clear clear cache it disappears from notifications, but it appears again if I launch this app.
Clear cache, clear data, force stop, then uninstall. Just because Microsoft wants you to use its apps doesn't mean that you have to.

I don't use the Your Phone app on my Samsung Galaxy S10+.

Okay, will uninstall it. Maybe I'll give it a chance later if they remove this silly notification bar, but at this moment, I think it's better if I uninstall it.

I suggest leaving feedback on Play Store for this app, stating your comments about the notification bar and giving the app a low number of stars. That way Microsoft will see it, and other people may also provide similar feedback.
