Zagg Glass from AT&T - insane halo

I thought I read somewhere that the Zagg protector for the S7 wasn't even out yet? This is the first I've heard of issues with Zagg. I used 3 different glass screen protectors from Verizon for my S6 and each one had the halo.

You're correct. Zagg will have a curved glass screen protector for the S7/Edge, it's just not available yet. You can sign up to have them email you when it becomes available.

anyone have any issues with screen sensitivity in the areas where there is the halo from the zagg? the halo means that the screen protector is lifted a bit from the screen, right?

Yes and yes

I have the exact same halo on my S7! It was the only option when I went to the store as I desperately needed to remove the factory film with the logo in the middle, and I would no way walk out with a naked screen! I love the feel of the glass (my first glass screen protector), but I would love it if it layed flat.

Get a zagg hd clear soft screen protector for now until they come out with the flexible glass protector. That's what I ended up doing and it works great with no halo. Don't get the hdx that has a halo as well

The new Bodyguardz for the S7 go a whisper from the edge of the device.

Here's a rule of thumb about glass:

BG - Thicker glass, half cost (~$13) replacements. This is across the board, with the S7 they also go to the edge of the device.

IS - Thinner glass, fractional (~$4) replacements. And they are still a bit more narrow than the ones from BG.

BG also offers an "HD Contour" which, while not glass, is a solid option and is relatively easy to apply.

Bodyguardz told my local Att the halo is normal and ok. That's not gonna fly

Sorry for an ignorant question but is "the halo" a result of the screen protector being smaller than the screen or is it because the edges are curling up?

I just got a screen protector from costco and HATE it because it is smaller than the whole screen

Yeah, I just applied a Bodyguardz to my S7 and the Halo is very pronounced. I might have to go with a self healing screen protector that has some pliability.
