Hi, can someone tell me the steps I need follow to flash it? I've never done it before and I can't find any tutorial. Thanks in advance.

Hey, all you need to do is put it into recovery and click on "flash zip from sdcard" and you'll see the Flash Debug-FormatSYSTEM.zip in there. just click on it and confirm. You have flashed it.

Even with Sound Manager installed I cant get phone to vibrate on notifications.

No. It works with the latest build of aosp, though.

after i install the cm7 i will reboot but after the two lg screens it will go to a black screen and stay there, doesnt go to the cm7 animation, wont boot, any idea?

Yes this current rom is dead but it lives on in aosp rom which is built off of the same CM 7

Maybe a dev can pull apart aosp firgure out how mms works implement it to this on and keep this rom alive. Just a thought.

It's outdated, it's probably still on 2.3.2 and it has none of the newest features that aosp has.

I understand that but aosp from what I understand is working twards a vanilla build. And who's to say that cyanogen will make a true cm7 for our phone. I like zefie's cm7 it gives the true feeling of cm7. I'm sure if a dev wanted to they could update this and make it work. Just mho.

That's true, the current zefie's nightly is at 2.3.3 for the 04282011 build and the aospCMod is at 2.3.4. I doubt a lot has changed that would prevent the MMS fix from being applied to zefie's CM7. Maybe we should ask on zefie's original Optimus S CM7 thread.

I can't be certain. It seems like there are no indication in the original thread. Maybe he's updating less frequently.

He may be back then I know he stopped then someone took over the cm7 project then got banned from the s thread. From what I read.

Looks like his phone and git hub is broken, so he officially did stop. It's a shame because I'm running zefie's 04282011 build on my Optimus V and it's running very smoothly except for the MMS bug. We might have someone else take over the Scott Pilgrim ports to the Optimus S, which means Optimus V also.

Dam shame too because I did like this Rom also Zefie did good work but, I understand life gets in the way and when that happens can't devote time to the things that he / she did for free. If I wasn't still so noob at making Roms I would defiantly pick up the torch.
