Hi guys,
I was wondering if anyone has a ZVC update.zip for an unrooted Optimus S with stock recovery? The reason I'm asking is bc the LG updater tool will not establish a connection with my phone when trying to force flash VC. The drivers are installed correctly and usb debugging is on. It just won't go past 30% when checking connection and keeps coming back with error about phone not being connected. It is currently running VD and I wanna roll back to VC. If anyone has that update.zip I would most appreciate it. Unless someone knows a solution or fix to the connection error on the LG updater tool? Thanks in advance. :)

The VC cab file needed for Software Updater is in this thread (in the reference section):
http://forums.androidcentral.com/lg...ing-ota-ls670vc-vd-using-kp500-diag-mode.html

To manually force it to use it, follow the KP500 force flash instructions. If you are on Win7, it might be easier if you find an XP machine, but it is still doable in Win7.

There is no full VC update.zip. It was never provided.

If you can nandroid back to V8 or V9, you could apply the OTA update.zip one at a time (V8->V9, V9->VC) until you get to VC.

Thanks for the reply but I already have the cab file and I already tried flashing via the KP500 method as I was trying to explain but the updater tool gets stuck at 30% and keeps giving me an error message saying phone is not connected. Is there a fix for that problem?

If you post the log file in the KP500 thread, I'll take a look.

Ok. I'm not home right now so I'll try to post it later when I get home. The KP500 thread u said not here right? Thanks

It is better served on that thread, so if we figure out what is wrong, it can help someone else.
