ZVJ update breaks netflix audio video sync for me.

My wife and I both have Optimus S phones but mine got the ZVJ update and hers has not.
I tried Netflix and the video is terribly slow compared to the Audio. I tried some of the old apk that had the update requirements hacked, but they were no help.

Has anyone with ZVJ been able to watch netflix with proper sync?

She is still on ZVD, and the sync is perfect for hers.

I am on ZVJ (GingerROM) and Netflix is out of sync (voice precedes video).

Confirmed. My wifes phone is mow ZVJ. Netflix is out of sync now for her as well.

Not sure if your rooted or not but I'm able to watch it with hydro Tom with out issues

Nope, I just have a rooted optimus s with stock gingerbread zvj. We are with Ting mobile, a Sprint MVNO.
Way cheaper if you're not a heavy data user and mobile hotspot is functional. They also do not care if you hack your phone. (Sorry, I really like Ting. Last months bill was under $60 for 2 phones with data. )

My phone has link2sd with everything linked except system files.
The wife's phone is not rooted, bone stock zvj. Both have the same issue.
I emailed the netflix app people. Hopefully they'll fix it.

Sorry, I thought you were on GingerROM, since you posted in that forum about this issue Hope Netflix fixes the issue soon. I was reading about Ting mobile earlier today and was pretty impressed with how they operate, now if only they would let us roam on Verizon

Ting does let you roam on verizon, but just voice. Data is blocked on verizon.

That's interesting, thanks! I thought most prepaid carriers lock you onto only one network.
