GPS How to?

I'm very confused trying to figure out how to set up and use GPS.

I did Settings, Location, but then I have 3 choices:

VZW Location Services
Standalone GPS Services
Google Location Services

Which one(s) do I want?
I don't want it to use data.

I want to get turn-by-turn directions and be able to save addresses so I can go there again.

standalone gps service is what you want, or you can use all three also, but all you need is the gps
