First post and brand-new to this forum: I desperately want the htc droid incredible to replace my dying Palm Centro. I was an early adopter of the Palms in the mid-1990s and have stuck true to all subsequent iterations of Palms including my current Centro which is now on life-support. I have since discovered the joys of cloud-computing with google's gmail/calendar/contacts/notes on igoogle. I still carry an old ipod but with the promise of the true all-in-one device finally fulfilled with this htc Incredible, I stay up at night fantasizing of my (hoped-for) new and exciting life led by my new phone. Please make this dream come true.

Well as I posted in the EVO forums I was going to be switching from the iPhone to the EVO on sprint. Turns out I can't since I am transferring to a new college in August and my campus is only half covered by Sprint and the rest is roaming (with not data usage). I just sold my iPhone to cover the cost of my early termination fee with AT&T but not I have to go for Verizon (which will cost me $20 a month more) so it turns out I am spending a lot more than I had originally planned.

So until I recoup some cash to make switch over to Verizon, I am stuck with a several year old Nokia phone that doesn't even have a camera on it. Not sure what model it is as it has no visible writing on it since it is all worn off. Only other info I have on it, is that it is all black and the blue 2 toned screen on the front turns on and off every few minutes all day/night and it drains batteries fast. I would take a pic but I don't have a camera phone to do so with. :p Let's hope I am not stuck with this crappy phone all summer, it's even worse than the iPhone I tired so hard to get rid of.

I have a Droid and it's the best phone I've ever owned. I wouldn't trade it for ANYTHING! Well maybe if something came along that was really Incredible I would consider it... :)

Why I should win the HTC droid Incredible

i'm actually trying something new and being completely unselfish in my desire to have this phone. my best friend actually had her blackberry storm (the older version) dropped by a fellow co-worker about a month ago. her screen is now completely shattered and the phone barely works. she had insurance on the phone but verizon told her that even tho her and her family have been with them for 10 years she couldn't get a new phone even with 2 year pricing because she hadn't had the phone for 3 months. she cant afford to buy a new one at full price because before that one broke she got water damage to her old blackberry and that one didnt have insurance on it so she paid $400-something dollars on ebay for a used one. she is still paying that one off and cant afford to pay another $400 to get a new phone. her next upgrade isnt until september so in the mean time i have given her my old env2 ( it has a broken front screen but everything else works okay) to use. I would be forever grateful if you guys could hook her up with this HTC incredible. This girl is honestly one of the most incredible people i have ever met and with all this crazy stuff going on in her life i feel she really deserves and act of kindness.

Desperately need a new phone

I am currently using a BB storm 1 (9530):mad::mad::mad::. When I'm not doing battery pulls, I am constantly frustrated by this phones limitations, memory or lack thereof and archaic OS. I thought I may give BB another try but after seeing sneak peeks of their so called all new OS 6.0 I am surely switching to android. Not to mention their newest phone the Bold 9650 is just a re-badge of another model. When I saw the HD2 and then the Incredible I was blown away by these phones and know that I must have one. Being as though I am already on VZ I was thrilled when the Incredible was announced. It is by far the best phone on the market and I cannot wait to get my hands on one.

I cannot wait to dump my old Blackberry 8330! My contract came up on April 22nd and lucky for me it did! I actually ordered a Droid about 2 weeks ago from wirefly. That was before I found this site. That was before I learned about the Droid Incredible. Thank god that wirefly had to cancel my order because I almost got stuck with the 2nd best phone out there ;)

I cannot wait to actually be able to surf the web with my phone!

My sorry old phone is a blackberry curve 8330 that I have changed out 2x. I need to get a new phone soon again, because the bb 8330 that i have now needs to be changed out again for a 3rd time due to constant OS freezing. (mind you, i don't have any extra apps installed other than the pre-built ones and of course gmail) There is nothing that I will miss on this blasted curve, sorry bb messenger you're not even reliable. I am also tired of trying to clean the trackball that keeps jamming.

I've got a myTouch. I switched from Verizon to T-Mobile back in August because everyone expected Verizon to mess up Android. Who saw this coming? Who? Who I say?

Blackberry

I have a first generation blackberry storm and daily, I want to throw it out a window. I need a phone that does not take longer than five minutes to get on the web. I need free space! I take a few pics or download one app. and next thing you know it's shutting itself down because it has no more free space and can't handle working!!!! I need battery life! I need a phone that will ring...all the time! I would just get a new phone, but let's face it in this economy...I'm broke!!!!;)

i need an HTC incredible

my trusty nokia 5310 gave up on me....so for now i am using the motorola f3.

my dad was on a business trip in asia and impulsively bought it because it was only $20 new. well he soon realized it was crap and forgot about it, but now i am stuck with it.

let me tell you a bit about it. it has an e-ink screen that looks like a 1980's digital watch and it only displays TWELVE characters... so basically texting on this thing is impossible. it's very much like using a calculator to text someone. so it does calls, hardly does texts, and.... that's about it. oh it has an alarm clock.

so you can imagine how i long for one of these new smartphones and all their amazing apps and their big screens... fingers crossed
