Problem with losing browser windows while closed?

I'm curious if anyone else has run into this problem since the Froyo update.

Previously, if I opened 3 or 4 windows or tabs in the browser, when I reopened the browser they would still be open.

Now, when I open the browser, it has closed any of the additional browser windows, and frequently it has lost even the primary window and just opens to my home page instead.

Is this related to the app management (ie, is Froyo "killing" my browser after it is unused for a period of time), or the browser itself? I much prefer the previous situation, as I have 2 or 3 pages that I leave open so that I can just refresh them quickly without going to my bookmarks.

I am using xScope browser with Froyo update -- all my tabs are still there when I re-open the browser or wake up the phone.
