Working with folders.

Some icons I can group together and some won't. Is there a way to create a folder to put app icons in? Or maybe an app to do it?

P.S. I use Apex launcher if that makes any difference.

What exactly are you trying to put into folders? With Apex or Nova most if not all applications will go into folders.

I'm on stock and haven't run into this. I've got system apps and downloaded apps in folders.

Can I create an empty folder, name it and make a custom icon for it then drop in the items I want to store in there?

for a stock setup, a custom folder icon is not allowed. The folder icon takes an amalgumation of the icons of the stored apps within the folder. But to create & rename a folder, on the home screen, Menu->Create folder, type in new folder name.

I figured out I pretty much have to chase down the icon I want to join. It finally will rest a bit and let me group another app icon with it. Then I can rename the file and even change the icon image.
