I have a Droid Pro that seems to be on its last legs. Today an online Verizon Wireless chat support guy informed me that the Rezound can be used as a global phone, which suits me because I occasionally travel to the UK and mainland Europe. In fact, he told me that he had personally just used the Rezound in London with no issues.
When I went in to my local Verizon shop to verify the support guy's info and possibly purchase a Rezound, the in-shop guy informed me that the online guy was wrong and that the phone in fact won't work at all overseas.
Which of the two is correct? I like the looks and specs of the Rezound, but I need to replace this rotten Droid Pro with another phone that I know will work overseas.
If the Rezound isn't an option, can anyone recommend for me an Android-based Verizon phone that does work overseas?
Thanks,
Mark
