I am itching to try this on my wifi only. However I have never rooted anything before so I will be crossing a line for the first time, and with something rather expensive. It says it hasn't been tested on the wifi only Xoom so I will wait to see how it works with others first.

One question though... Will this whipe all I have stored on my Xoom?
Besides bricking and warranty void, is there any reason I shouldn't want to try this.

Yes it will wipe your xoom completely so back it up. I haven't done it yet because I don't want to have unroot it when the updates come for the sd card.
