HTC One Max all of the sudden not sending or receiving picture messages on verizon network?

About a week ago I noticed that I can no longer send or receive MMS. I've had the phone for a little over a year with no problem. If I receive a MMS, it asks to either download or decline. When I click on download, it just gives me a message about how im not connected to the network and to try again when I am connected. I constantly am on WiFi at my house, and have even tried sending and receiving by turning off my WiFi. Still no MMS can go through. Anyone have similar problems all of the sudden on the verizon network with the HTC One MAX? Any help would be amazing.

Two things. Check to make sure that the phone is updated: system settings - about phone - software. If there is one available, accept it. If that doesn't work then go into system settings - applications - Sort by all - message app - clear cache.

Power cycle by simultaneously pressing power & volume down button for about 10 seconds or so. Equivalent to battery pull.
