    Default RAZR for me....

Switched from a Thunderbolt, which really wasn't that bad after all the updates. I really like this phone! Fast and smooth, though I can't wait for ICS.

I do have a small question. Is there anyway to control the back-lighting for the capacitive buttons? I'd like them to come on when there's some light but not enough to see them clearly.

    Thanks.

not to my knowledge... maybe with a rooted app... most articles on google say you have to root and tinker in ADB.... or flashing over a zip file.... or decompiling the boot.img file

a non-root method, which people scream about and love, is Screen filter

    good luck

I don't think that's what I'm looking for. The screen brightness is fine, I'd like the backlight on the buttons to come on sooner. There's times when the light sensor thinks it's light enough to see the buttons, and it's not.

    Thanks for the reply though.....

I know on my droid x you could edit the build.prop file if I remember correctly, you can Make it so they are on when you turn the screen on. That might work
