Why did you order a replacement: Cracking/buzzing earpiece, yellowing screen, stuck pixel, and sub-par battery life.

Did you received the replacement: Not yet. It will arrive on 12/12/12 ( )

How long did it take: Ordered it on 12/5/12, so I guess it took 7 days to arrive?

Did the replacement N4 have other issues: I'll have to report back.

How would you rate the process: So far, painful. Why? Because I'm dealing with T-Mobile and not Google directly. I had to try calling T-Mobile 4-5 different times before they were able to send me a replacement. I ended up calling the advantage line (I have an the advantage discount through my employer) and they finally were able to get me a replacement ordered.

There is a plus side going through T-Mobile for any phone replacement though, that plus is they send me the replacement first, then I send them the defective one when I receive the replacement.
They also take care of the postage, so that's nice.

You have to order a replacement for $350, which will show as pending on your credit/debit card until they receive the defective unit. You don't send the defective unit to them until you get your replacement. No shipping fee.

Awesome but I mean YOUR shipping fee, like the shipping fee to get the bad nexus 4 to them.

That label WAS the shipping label. On the bottom half of the sheet - I'm printing mine now, so I'm looking at it and did this with my N7 return - it says:

? Fold the printed label at the solid line below. Place the label in a UPS Shipping Pouch. If you do not have a pouch, affix the folded label using clear plastic shipping tape over the entire label. Take care not to cover any seams or closures.

Yeah no the PDF i got via email simply states: PLEASE PRINT THIS DOCUMENT AND PUT INSIDE THE PACKAGE. It might be a slightly different returns policy in teh UK than in the US maybe? Either way i'm still waiting to hear back from them and i'm in process of sending back my second (replacement) phone because of the crackling ear piece. So third time lucky!

Does anyone know if the RMA are being put ahead of the line or is it a 5 to 6 week weight like orders. They told my friend he can keep his device till the new one arrives but his email says need to ship it back within 21 days. Rep on the phone said may not ship till January the replacement device.

I requested mine Saturday 12/1 from Google and had to wait a little over 20 minutes on hold. The person who answered was very friendly and knowledgeable though and quickly determined I needed a replacement. I accidentally hung up and then had to call back and wait about a half hour and it was quite a pain and had a couple other hiccups due to my own fault but I got the replacement ordered and finalized and was told I'd get it in 3-5 days. It's still pending and 2 days ago I emailed support for a status and haven't heard back.

I'm a bit antsy but hoping maybe I'll get the replacement soon and that maybe they just don't notify you when your return ships...
- as of December 11: I emailed again and got a reply yesterday my order had gotten stuck an an "order loop" and they'd escalate it and I received confirmation that it's been escalated to a shipping specialist and they're working to resolve the issue. Hopefully this is nearing resolution. Glad I kept emailing and contacting customer service to follow up.

Latest update (Dec 11): I received this email response: Hello Marisa,

It looks as if everything is good with your order. Your Nexus 4 will reach you within 4-5 weeks.

4-5 weeks for a replacement??

Has anyone requested a replacement for an iffy power button? I ordered 2 8GB versions but one of the power buttons has a grinding noise and I feel like it's loose on the bottom half.

You should read the E-Mail you recieved from them. Google will send you the shipping label with your replacement phone.

The original N4 had issues charging. It will get stuck at 60% or 70% randomly and will never charge further unless I disconnect and reconnect the charger again.
I cant keep baby sitting the phone while charging. Ordered a replacement on 12/05
Received the order delivered super quick on 12/07. However, the replacement kept dropping the service and goes to "No Service" mode. Never had this happen in any of my phones before. So i am not sure if it is with the baseband or radio on this set. So i called for a replacement again today. Was told 3 to 5 business days (as they did for the first replacement).

So hoping 3rd time is the charm.

Why did you order a replacement? Headphone port extremely quiet / headphone port buzzes when plugged in to speakers when other phones don't
Did you received the replacement? Nope - they said it'd be 3-5 business days and I haven't even got a tracking number and it's been over 6 business days
How long did it take? To deal with Google, 5 minutes. Delivery: TBD
Did the replacement N4 have other issues? TBD
How would you rate the process? Ordering extremely easy, no hassles. Delivery an epic disaster, esp since they pre-authorized my card all this time, yet haven't lived up to their promise of a 5 day delivery.

I started my return process yesterday. The rep told me that (according to what his supervisors are telling him), that they set aside a batch of phones for returns. So we should not have to wait like the back-ordered customers. However, he did not offer me a time frame as to when I should get my replacement (this is for the 16GB N4). I'm sure the 21-day return time period starts when you get your replacement phone. I sure hope it's not January!

Oh yeah i know that, but they didn't. Thats the problem i'm trying to work with them to solve! I'm still waiting to hear back, starting to get a little worried as the 21 day window approaches though! Eek!

Received first Nexus 4 on Nov 20. Returned as a defect due to very poor battery life on Nov 23. Customer service process was not smooth and lacking communication on Google/LG's end. Could only get results by calling--I never received a response to any of my emails. Replacement unit arrived Dec 6. Battery life much better on replacement unit, however the new unit has a "rattle" which I will just live with since it doesn't seem to affect anything.

Why did you order a replacement? earpiece crackling noises, even when not making calls

Did you received the replacement? I just placed the order now.

How long did it take? N/A. Will update when it comes.

Did the replacement N4 have other issues? Can't tell yet since its not here.

How would you rate the process? Process was very easy, and CS was very helpful. hopefully delivery will be soon, as promised.
