Thank you for the photos!
I have an upgrade I can burn and am really interested in this phone. I like my Galaxy S4 - but I may be the only person who has to work hard to get clear photos. The camera is the next biggest priority to me other than it running smooth.

Looking forward to seeing how the camera on this phone pans out, tempted to consider (just waiting for more info on the N5)

hmm perhaps the lower light is pretty good on this.. and the ois def helps with blur. nice.

the only photo issues I have are outside, anything white gets washed out quite badly. the phone over exposes things, so drop the exposure down a bit. doesn't really help the washing out of light colors though but it makes the pic look a little better. the sky always gets washed out.

Anyone using intelligent auto? I find that it isn't really all that much better.

wow so i just used intelligent auto for the first time.. and its super dark outside. sun has set, barely any light out.. and i just took this pic. wow I'm impressed.

I personally think auto intelligent mute colors when in a well lit scene.

How badly? I run any photos I'm planning on posting through Snapseed. Seems like it'd be super easy to bring that saturation back in.

I think the banding is a result of trying to squeeze 13mp out of a tiny little sensor. I doubt we'll be getting rid of that. With that being said, I'm not spending $140 for a camera, I'm spending that for a cell phone that can take pics in a pinch. I have my 5DII for when it matters.

Edit: To be fair, these are the only pics I've seen the banding in so far. Its a very high contrast scene so the camera is moving all levels to try to meet each other while still trying to keep some sort of accuracy. Its a hard task that even DSLRs struggle with. The shots at the top of the page of the brick building and the car are insanely good and made an audible "wow" come out of my mouth.

Some pics on Night Mode, no flash. The cigar pictures were edited on the phone. One thing I found out is once you edit a photo (even just a slight color edits) it knocks the resolution way down on its own. Can't find a setting to keep this from happening.
