Just got my 6P! Honeymoon phase!

You can do a lot of customization with Apple if you jailbreak your phone. I do it all the time. That will let you remove the text from under the app. There are a million other tweaks that you can do after a jailbreak. The combination is endless. I have owned an iPhone with a PC laptop and an...

Just got my 6P! Honeymoon phase!

Your experience mirrors mine. I still have my Dropbox since I migrated from a PC. I am now using iCloud almost exclusively. I still keep my Dropbox just in case. When I had my PCs I would almost always call on my brother to help me with the slowdowns and the viruses that I would get. With the...

Just got my 6P! Honeymoon phase!

You are using third party apps to get this done. You either have to pay for them, or they are clunky and do not work Seamlessly. With my Apple devices I do not have to install third party apps. When the OS is updated, all the sharing still works and I do not have to worry whether the apps vendor...

Just got my 6P! Honeymoon phase!

There is way more to seamless integration than that. 1. I can edit a document on my MacBook and then hand it over to my iPad when I go up to my bedroom. 2. My iPhone rings and i left it in my bedroom while I am downstairs on my MacBook. I can answer from my MacBook. My sister calls on...

Just got my 6P! Honeymoon phase!

No matter how much you try to integrate a MacBook Pro with an Android phone it is not going to be as seamless as it is integrating iOS devices. Apple devices work seamlessly together with no third party apps and little user input.

Anyone from Galaxy s6 to 6p?

6s has no OIS either. 6s Plus has OIS.

Just got my 6P! Honeymoon phase!

Maybe he enjoys things that Android cannot do. Maybe his tech fulfillment includes integration of his iPad, MacBook and iPhone together. He can answer his phone on any of his three devices. He can save one photo on one device and view it immediately on another or in the cloud. He can easily...

    Disable location requests per app?

I would have thought that Android would allow per App location services for the purpose of battery longevity. Every now and then I go through my app list and disable location services for apps that I rarely use. Some apps even have a setting to use location only when the app is being used...

S6 has no HDMI, MHL or other video output

I have an HTC One. It mirrors to my Samsung TV. The S3 also mirrors to my Samsung TV. Sent from my iPhone 8

    WIFI calling

No it doesn't. I have a Verizon iPhone 6 and switched to t-mo and I have wifi calling. Without it, the calling reception at my house is very poor and choppy. Sent from my iPhone 8

Initial AT&T Nexus 6 Shipments Being Recalled

Life is filled with compromise and so are handsets. I would not call the difference between a 5.95 and 5.5 inch screen significantly larger and that QHD screen comes at the expense of great battery life. A well made 1080 p would have been a much better choice, but it would not have been good for...

Initial AT&T Nexus 6 Shipments Being Recalled

Jailbreak iOS and all the boredom will go away. I have my iPhone 6 set up the way I like it and not the way Apple sells it. I know that you should not have to do that to make the phone "yours", but you can say the same thing about almost every other Android phone with a skin and bloat ware. You...

    Droid Turbo: Battery Life

I was just typing in general. So far no one has posted a screenshot of 48 hours between charges as Moto advertised. I have seen 1 day and 14 hours with 14% left. That might not get you to two days. This obsession with QHD is simply putting a drain on battery life. 1080p would have been plenty...

    Droid Turbo: Battery Life

So no one is getting the 48 hours use time between charges? Had Moto gone with a 1080p screen, then 48 hours would have been achievable.
